Don’t let any of our resident Saints supporters read this.

They’ll have your guts for garters.

He’d be an easy correction in round 3 if he starts well.
Which underperforming midpricer are you planning on starting, then switching to Pou?

Let us know who not to bother with? :moustache:

Oh I’m on the Pou train from the get-go, my devilishly handsome bovine compatriot.

Hmmmmm the Pou train sounds kinda wrong, but I’ve committed to the post now and I’d like to see it through.

What does Pou need to average to make him a good pick?

Or are people thinking he goes from 2x tons ever to an F6 keeper?
85+

IMO he can do 90+ and be a keeper. He looked exactly what St Kilda needed late last season and is currently training the house down.

Is Pou good value ? .....or is he too speculative at his price, which isn't a bargain

Finished the season strongly and is training the house down. St Kilda need to develop their young players like him, fitness aside I'm confident he's a good pick.

Where will Baker and Bolton play at their new clubs?

If Baker settles into a role, either half back or midfield, he could go bananas.

Bolton I'm less excited about, because Freo already have a stacked on-ball brigade.

Baker training in defence apparently. But can he gull enough to be a better option than the popular options? Is he actually that good?

I rate him, I think he's a really good player. Eagles have been crying out for a runner off half back. If the plan is to get the ball in his hands and he runs off half back, I reckon he could explode. Not sure he has the seagull in him though, he's more of a heart and soul/body on the line player.

The worry with players like him is they become jack of all trades master of none.

This 100% and with Mini as the coach I think he will get thrown around a fair bit. At his price you would rather start someone who is definitely playing that role like Short/Roberts.

If its rankine or jhf im taking rankine everyday of the week

Why ?

Isn't JHF's role more of a lock at this stage ......so many could go thru that Crows Midfield; Peatling, ANB, Dawson, Crouch, Curtin and I think Draper's to get mid time ....and apparently Rachele is training with the Mids, this PS

Whereas that Port midfield is a bit more predictable

Rankine will be able to do both with anb there meaning confusion on where he is playing is jhf a lock ? Marshall is iffy , luko is hit and miss georgiadis is the only one id be banking on jhf may have to plug holes in their forward line

In games where Rankine received at least 40% cba’s he averaged 110 last season. If he looks like boosting his midfield minutes then he’s a no brainer. Plus he’s pretty enjoyable to watch. Surely the crows phase crouch and laird out this year.

That's the big question that needs answering.....

Don’t know how Adelaide’s midfield is gonna set up. Dawson, Laird, Draper, Crouch, Rankine, Soligo. Don’t have any faith in Nicks getting it right.
I believe Laird is training with the defenders, Rank will split 50/50, and you’d think Draper will roll in off a HFF to begin with. Low-key excited about Draper.

Crouch can’t really play anywhere else (67% CBA’s) Dawson is their Rolls Royce and generally will only move out of the guts if he’s getting a hard tag or resting (59% CBA’s over the 2024 season 🤔) and Soligo was at 56%.

Izak was at 38%.

Sam Berry also got a look in with 235 CBA’s over his 18? games.

Then there’s Rachele.

Peatling too, doubt he chose the Crows over several other offers to play half forward,

Isn't Curtain training with the Mids as well?
