Have loaded up on quality young talent in recent years, and they’ll mostly have another preseason under their belts, plus they add Bolton, who is a “difference maker”.

Heat will be enormous on Longmuir if they miss.

• 5 teams play Brissie the week before they play Freo
• 5 teams play Geelong the week before they play Freo
• 5 teams play another '24 top 8 the week before they play Freo
• in the first 11 rounds, only Melbourne comes off a bottom 10 team and Freo has a very good recent record against them
• of the other 8 games: Melb, GC (A), North (H), Saints (H), Hawks (H), Pies (A), WC (H), and Bullies (A)

that's quite fortunate for Freo as many of their opponents will have had it pretty tough and draining the week before playing some high level opposition which will also end momentum for a number of teams before they come up against Freo, so no excuses

If I was a Bombers supporter I'd still roll the dice on that prospect, as winning a final would be like winning a flag at this stage. I remember in 2004 it felt pretty damn good to see Geelong win a final after a 9 year dry spell.

That's what I call detail and it has merit too, so it'll be interesting but yeah if you guys didn't have your key forward and key back go down last few games last year, you would have made finals easily and been some threat. So with injury luck on your side 2025 and with Bolton who'll make a 'huge difference', you can see why so many non-Fremantle supporters are keen on Freo for 2025 including me. So good luck for next season, coz Young and Serong are two of my very favourite players along with Bolton who you've now got anyway.

Aside from taking a dig at Melbourne (FWIW I agree we’re a shit football club), you haven’t addressed the question as to why you think Freo will make the 8.

I thought you ended the season terribly and are no certainty to make the 8 at all next year.

Yes they will. Young, Serong, Brayshaw with Bolton rolling through is elite.
