Let's start the Sudanese contingent along with indigenous Australian contingent, we will have a great and wonderful team.
Let's get guys that are quick, focussed, and most of all skilled at playing the game. I don't care about anything else...if they can play footy to the right standard, hold up to the rigours of the game, and perform their role whilst wearing the team colours, then we'll have a wonderful team.

Windy - Great young leader; super diligent trainer; plenty of upside on field; Mitch’s best mate - would be insane to lose him - pay him a bit extra if needs be
Also playing very well at the moment. Thought he was very good against Taranto in the middle.
Think he's being a tad unheralded for his efforts. He just doesn't stop.
By the end of the year, If he keeps going the way he is, people will be noticing what he brings, and his value to the team.

7th year on the list.
He needs to start showing up.
Over a $million a year til the end of 2032 was a crazy contract with his body

Last 2 seasons before this one he played 23 games out 45 and will miss at least the 1st five games this year

Max is 25 this year really needs to pull the finger out

So Rowell OC this year. Reid in 2026.

Current order based on ladder is below. So will change. Blues unlikely to stay 3rd bottom (Hawks pick). Demons may well go up, but look likely to not make the 8.

So Essendon will have two early picks to trade. Can they get either Rowell or Reid to select them though?

Tigers will also have two early picks most likely.

Cats will be looking to shake the tree again too, but have less to give.

Saints have no 2nd Rounder and probably no more than a middling first rounder at best to trade. So securing a good FA has to be our priority in the 2025 Draft Period if possible.

Imagine getting Rowell.

I'd make sweet love to smoking hot French (female) triplets if it meant we could get Matt Rowell to the Saints.

Oh thing about King that fills me with hope is some players just eventually come good with injuries.
Zac Jones shows he is a more than useful mid now he has been virtually injury free for the better part of a year.
Mason Wood totally injury prone at North. Comes to us and has had the occasional injury but has played a vast amount of games per season that he ever did with North.
Both in or up near their 30's. Let's hope Max can get a good run at it.

It would be more of a concern re. Max if we were currenntly contending I guess.
Given we are probs two years off being a chance of coming good we just need peak Max then.

Good interview from Ro when asked about how a potential TDK signing could impact his game.

Happy to play forward. Was drafted as one

Max will be in and out of the team, as I think he has an eggshell body. When he is in, he will have impact, but we need our better players to be on the field for the bulk of a season- I don't think he will ever play a full season, though we only hope.

Again. He already played every game in 2022.
