He is a dominant big man and likely the premier ruck in 2-3 years.

Had a big 2nd half sure but Nank still had more impact.

Unless TDK can produce that 2nd half on a more consistent basis, then it’s not worth going for him. B grader

Disagree. Just hacks it forward. Like a lot of Blues players, stats look way better than impact.

Improved in the second half to be fair, but doesn't have any real class about him. We can't be throwing 1.7m at blokes that offer nothing special.

Still got to be within reason. If we are going to overpay somebody 850k a year, may as well offer way overs to LDU.

Offer 2.3m, he is comfortably worth 600k more than TDK.

Nankerivs had the same amount of kicks, 7 less handballs, 5 more hit outs, 2 more goals.

TDK also make some costly turnovers, his disposal was ordinary. Nankervis outplayed him, particularly noticeable in ruck contests when they were against each other.

You take him for sure, but not at that price. There is just nothing special about him IMO.

You can't quote stats without context. He had a good game, especially the 2nd half.

But...

he had 2 marks for the whole game, both uncontested.
8 turnovers.
Only 2 score involvements

He had some good stats, which is to be expected when he was on the ground for over 80% of the game. But he didn't have a massively positive impact on the game. He didn't look like a game winner, just someone who was heavily involved without a ton of impact. $1.7 million a year for that? I'll reserve judgement. But if it's money for a mid or ruck we are throwing around I know where I'm placing my bets.
