Think Petracca is worth the pass now, think that run injury trauma might be too hard to ignore.

Really struggling to decide my M3. Bont and Serong have been in almost every team I’ve made and Oliver at this stage is too good to ignore.

Have had Walsh, LDU, Brayshaw, Green, Merrett.

Think I’ll just go Merrett and cop the bye. Have no Hawks or Essendon premos so not the worst bye in the world.

Merrett possibly starting at HB to allow the young mids get CBA's. We'll see but imagine him as a DPP. Wanting to start Newcombe as POD'ish but he has the same early bye as Zac. Early days.

Reckon they’ve been talking about Merrett playing off half back for a few years. He’s by far their best midfielder / player. Brad Scott would be crazy to move one of their very few winners.

I started him last season as he was just too well valued to pass up priced at 95 given his previous scoring history.

Looked to be a master-stroke after the first 5 rounds, as he was averaging 130.

Went at 102 for the next 18.

Not sure if he was carrying niggles at stages, although that was reported by some.

Considering going 6 deep in the mids and with a gun mid at flex too. The idea being to downgrade the worst of them to the best rookie available after a couple rounds. If they are all performing, happy days! I just like the prospects of all of them so im going to go for it. My team looks utterly ridiculous apart from the gun rucks, but i actually love it.

Ive thrown out the SC rule book and am relishing doing everything that any reasonable coach would avoid doing. 300k in the bank. No forwards over 400k, a total of ~1.6M spent on 3 rucks with a 260k player on the bench etc. its going to be a fun round or 2 until i rip whats left of my hair out and hover my finger over the 'delete team' button. Heres to having a season ruined practically before it even begins... Cheers
