Never made any sense to me after they spent up in free agency.

It never made sense to me given they still show the Barr hit that broke his collarbone in hype videos.

I hate the playoff seeding determined by record and not winning division proposed rule changes. Will make divisions less important which is what is lacking from NBA.
Plus if you do away with division winners getting better seeding what's the point of doing divisions at all and playing 3 division teams twice a season not much of a point if it doesn't decide the seeding.

This year alone 3 games would of flipped who hosted. Chargers would of hosted the Texans, Rams/Vikings and Tampa/Washington. last season the Eagles and Browns would of hosted WC games not play in Tampa/Houston

Sure most years a team has more wins but is a road WC team. The fixture isnt even anyway the closest you get is in the division and if you dont win that you dont deserve to host playoff games.

Having a look at his PFF grades and he hasn't been terrible the past couple of years so ill retract my original statement. I just remember him being an absolute disaster with the Raiders.

It's 100% backup money, but could also start over a rookie perhaps. Rodgers isn't going to the Giants. No shot imo.

I mean think of Brissett starting over Maye to start last year, he would have signed for backup money and probably made it thru the year starting if he wasnt so shit.

If Giants dont take a QB at 3 I can absolutely see Winston starting for the majority of the season with a rookie taken later in the draft backing him up and getting some starts towards the end of the season.

Didnt the Browns have 4QBs to start the season. the money itself is backup money, but that doesnt mean he cant start if they dont get one in the draft or if Rodgers decided to retire rather then play for them or Pitt

When was the last time a QB was signed as QB1 and making $4m a year who isnt on a rookie deal

Money. Its all about leverage, he knows they are screwed he can afford to **** them round for a better deal.
