Let's see how unbeatable they are next week.
I think Hawthorn are vulnerable to high pressure. They like to run off their opponents which leaves them exposed to turnover.

Carlton’s problem last night was their horrible ball movement. They hack it forward with chaos balls which plays into Hawthorn’s hands.

We will need to move the ball a lot cleaner if we are to challenge them.

The Giants will be a good litmus test for the Hawks next week.
They can exert pressure, have pace and are more skilful than the Blooz in transition.

I think Carlton are a middle 6 on the ladder club.

They'd be lower if they didn't have Cripps and TDK.

Suffering two losses early really lifts the chances of them being at the bottom of that middle 6, which leaves them out of finals.

My pre-season ladder had them missing the 8 as well as Sydney

Hawks are a great kicking team but as Ess showed last week going man on man is the only way to stifle their kicking.
Had Ess been better users, they'd have made it a closer game. Carlton also made ground when pressuring the kicker.

King's comment that Hawks are also vulnerable I50, by conceding score from turnover was interesting, and indicates that Teams with proficiency in that aspect of the games can exploit this weakness.
Then add Reeves who was shown up last night, and while he won't face a TDK every week he is not a Ruckman to fear.

So like all teams I don't see Hawks as being without their problems.

The media are such morons. Last year Sydney were unbeatable. The year before Geelong were going back to back for sure. Idiots that cant look more than 2 minutes ahead in life

The media cater to the general public, who are mostly morons.

I actually think Roos and Dees might be an ok game on the Marvel deck.
Interested to see how the young Nth midfield go against the strong Dees unit.
Hopefully the Camry Crows get hold of the Bummers today. That at least will be amusing.
