Friends younger brother is at Geelong grammar in the same year level as Sam. Said he’s the best kid, nicest guy, not arrogant whatsoever.

A humble champion, love to hear it

Lalor should just concentrate being Lalor. Form his own game to what he knows to be his own strengths and weaknesses. To try to play exactly like someone else is folly and a recipe for failure.

Kid and club need to steer as far clear as they can from the Dusty comparisons. When does that situation ever go well? I wouldn't give him 4 purely because of that

This kid is a genuine captain in the making.

Watch the last 30 seconds of the National Champs final and you’ll see why.

When Travaglia gave away the 50m penalty which lost them the game Isaac Kako ran over to travaglia and gave it too him. Lalor was first there to defend his mate and take on 3 of them.
Straight after the siren he called the whole vic country team in around him and talked to the whole group. Pure class and leadership.

Was it Kako gobbing off I thought it was Murphy Reid ?

If he wants the 4, he gets the 4.

any player who wants to live in another guys shadow that much would would have me worried tbh.

Kobe idolised MJ. but even he never took "23". he took 24 ....... "Despite that, his contemporary, Kevin Garnett, cited the personal rivalry with Michael Jordan as the major contributor behind the decision. “That was a sign to everybody that he was a step above 23,” the 2008 champion highlighted while shedding light on MJ’s iconic number. “That was a shot at Mike [Michael Jordan],” KG declared to share his perspective on the switch.

I'd be more impressed if he took his own number to make famous. The pressure on this crop is going to be insane as it is - lets not make it harder
