Yep. I don't go in too much for that stuff because I don't watch enough VFL and junior football for it to be anything more than an educated guess. I tend to base my assessments on how I see players potential in early games. That said, I'm pretty sure on a main board thread I nominated McKay as the most likely to have a huge step up and impact in 2020.
Simpkin moved towards being the midfield leader, Lmac had a cracker but I don't think any player came from as far out of the team to entrenched key member as Ben did. Really positive for our future if we can lock away a key position like this for the next decade.

If someone told me prior to 2020 season that Simpkin would take the next step, LMac would have a career best season, McKay would make it at full back, LDU would take the next step, Walker would prove to be a great recruit, Taz, Goldy and Higgins would miss just 1 game between them - AND you'd tell me we'd go on to win just 3 games, I'd tell you to get an urgent psychiartic appointment.

In fairness, I think Brad tried to give him a good go. However, once Tarrant and Scotty T were available, it became difficult. In a weird way, Ben’s experience in early 2019, probably, set him up for his second crack this year.
