Using the word “lucrative” but refusing to put it in context is disingenuous. A $200k a year contract for 4 years kicking sausage rolls every week would be lucrative to 95% of people here on BF. For a guy kicking 180 goals in three years in a mediocre team, not so much. I can’t remember the exact figure ($480k over 4 or something) but considering the mediocrity we were paying squillions for, he had an absolute right to get a favourable deal.

I still think he stays, but gee whizz he would want to ****in' adapt to the gameplan sometime soon. I'm more worried he isn't able to do that than I am that he wants out.
