Funny if Turner gets a gig, Brad Scott has pretty much just listened to to one part of each board member here who has commented, he recognises we need a small forward to replace Nahas and not just someone whose dominating the VFL e.g Anthony, Dumont or Jacobs, but he has conceded that Harper is not in form and therefore cannot be considered.

I love how some people on here think that Harper can somehow turn 12 possies & 0.7 goals in the VFL, into 15 & 1.5 in the AFL!?

By that logic, my 9 possies & 0.1 goals for Craigieburn 2's, would just about make me an AFL hall of famer!!

Harper uses the ball well, has good goal sense and applies good defensive pressure. Ball in hand, he is one of the most talented players on the list.

While I acknowledge his reading of the game is one other major issue, the other two major issues with him is confidence and finding the pill. And unless you're Gary ****ing Ablett, it is much easier to solve those issues playing in a better team.
