Interesting to hear Brad say, at the end of yesterday's presser, that Harps sprained his good ankle and while he could have played, they decided to not risk him, but that he now has a game or two to press for senior selection.

Nothing guaranteed, nor over the top, but still more optimistic language than I could have hoped to hear.

i was looking at our injury list on the website and apparently he has done an ankle on the weekend, ending his year.
not like he was going to get a game this week anyway, but could be pretty bad for Werribee.
though they will supposedly get back Currie and Wood at least.

The poor guy - ankles can be an absolute disaster for power/speed AFL players. And they can't always be fixed - especially when the problem is as chronic as his seems. Watching from the ground Sunday I din't think his running action looked comfortable at all - even early in the game.

If we have persisted with Taz & Cuzz then surely Harps will stay on the list. He's actually played & shown some recent improvement.

I hope Harps gets his ankle fixed, and has a complete recovery, if he gets himself right, what a recruit he will be next year, but realistically, this must be last roll of the dice time, hopefully 3rd time lucky, hope he got the best surgeon available

if you meant physically, well all good, just what you wrote could be read in different ways.
