Interesting.

I wonder if the "I'm unloved" theory has any legs? Personally I have been highly sceptical as I think he requested the trade for the extra cash and perhaps better opportunity.

However, if Levi is a sensitive soul, perhaps he might also be miffed that Collingwood think he is worth only pick 30?

Nah.

I heard the club got Kekka & McAdam to call Levi about how dirty they felt.

I have it on good authority from my thouthes that this is what happened:

Greenwood was laying on his inflatable doughnut in the pool enjoying a pina colada, with an umbrella, when Bucks comes storming to the pool and yells, "Patrick, get out of the pool, your arse is mine!"

Lumumba is leaving and clearing about $400 k per year in his contract.
All along, I don't think Beams is related to the Greenwood movement.
We've got a lot of space in our salary cap, 3 of Levi's contract years are in years where Swan is no longer at the club.

The way you are going 2 of those may be with Pendles not at the club.

You currently have a shit young list. Take out Pendlbury, Sidebottom and Beams and your list is dog shit.

Swan can't be arsed playing for Figgy anymore.

I wouldn't call them shit, quite a few of them are talented, they are just vertically challenged and it is hard to go up against large midfields when you pretty much have a circus mini burst through the banner and all these short people pour out of it, well, I think they will go okay early in seasons when it is less contested but struggle as the season pans out.

Ok, just so you know, you're not welcome to do this, particularly after the constant subtle trolling you are doing on the Collingwood board.

Also please note that Greenwood is uncontracted. As I mentioned to pies fans on our boards, you get much less value for an uncontracted player because your position in the negotiation is weaker as you risk losing the player for nothing immediately (i.e. if Beams ends up staying for the year, a team may still offer us something like a late first rounder to secure him at the end of next year rather than seeing him going to the draft). So if you want to compare Greenwood's worth in terms of picks in relation to other players, you would have to look at the uncontracted ones.
Piss off wanka

Haven't been on bigfooty all day. Would anyone be kind enough to summarise what's happened with Levi today? Are these rumours of him staying true?

Tim Rosen (an SEN host) has tweeted that there is a chance Levi may still stay at North.

the hashtag #stayarooLevi has been tweeted 17 times according to my latest twitter search. But some of them are double-ups and one seems to be from a guy comparing him to exotic diseases with unfortunately high fatality rates.
