I think if you had shown Essendon fans the one on one matchups on paper and asked them to guess which two it was that got into a bit of a dust up, 90%+ would have picked Stringer & Redman. As long as there are no proper punches thrown to the head or anything like that, I think it's great to see such competitiveness.

You're thinking of the old regime. There'll be no bud nipping anymore. Nobody getting comfortable. Players should be taking each other to task. Anyone with hurt feelings can go.

Meh I think you’re confusing honest feedback with allowing rifts / cliques

You can have brutal honesty AND a united group, even if feathers are ruffled at times

Apparently they're now friends, and one day they were shooting clay pigeons and Paul turned the gun towards Vinnie and dared him to try and grab him now. Sport was different back then, but it's good they can put that behind them and be mates.
