DP you are a very generous soul:thumbsu: He had some shite posted recently where he had his best "moneyball" recruits and he didn't have Higgins in his top ten. There is all anyone needs to know about this simpleton. I did question him and I forgot his response as it wasn't worthy to recall.
Knowing him it would have been along the lines of "Yeah but if you slot higgins into say a Collingwood, the impact he had at north looks far less worthwhile of ranking"

Yes he is a little one-eyed, he did suggest that Collingwood will trade Pendleberries for the number one draft pick and that would be a great outcome for the bottom side. They may need to sweeten the deal somehow.
Some did point out that Scott will be 31 by the time he pulls on the boots for his new club.

Isn’t KM like 12 years old?

Next year

I finally got around to watching the game tonight. I thought TT was pretty good. Not flashy apart from that mark in the last, but some of his work in close by hand was exceptional.

I’d be surprised if he’s not in our Rd 1 team in 2019.

Yeah his best work was definitely on the inside. Got the ball out several times through persistence and skill.

In your opinion who’s Better jones or Thomas
In terms of potential.... Thomas. Chayce is maybe a little more consistent, but Thomas' best is amazing. That's why recruiters have him so high. But I dont really like making predictions because even experts whose only job is to compare players and predict their futures get it wrong a lot of the time. I think they are both the best Tasmanian players I have seen for their age (I havent really been watching long though lol). Kade Kolodjashnij at this age didnt have anywhere near the impact on games these guys do. And he was immediately good at AFL level, came 2nd in the B&F in his second year at gold coast before all his concussion problems.

Latest rankings have Tarryn dropping after disappointing series
ESPN have thomas drop to 16
We could use pick 10 ish on ohalloran
Or rosee?caldwell or McHenry and still get tarryn
From Memory ESPN is knightmare.

Means nada.

ESPN haha.

I do agree he has dropped though. More the 6-12 range though.

Hasn't played TSL since the champs either.

MM: How excited should the fans be about Tarryn Thomas?

CJ: I think through the Academy Series he had a really good series and then played up in the championships and hurt his hand or his thumb close to the end, but played some reasonable footy there. He's certainly a talented player and again our guys have got to put him in the order as they think, then we'll work through from there.

MM: So there's no guarantee he'll be a Kangaroo next year?

CJ: We've still got decisions to make on all those guys, as some of those have got decisions to make on us.

MM: Your first-round pick is interesting, given you can move up to match any bid on Thomas. Are you considering trading it?

CJ: For starters, we don't even know what number it is, but as we've mentioned before, there's some pretty handy talent at the top end of the draft, so we'll just assess that as we go.

Been a month since the last champs game, and he hasn't featured in the TSL.

Cue could be in the rack given it's round 19 of the TSL, there's only 1 more round of the regular season left.

He played for North Launnie last Saturday. Kicked 1 goal. Still having issues with his hand.

Grain of salt.

KM is a moron.

With all due respect to the mountain of work that the bloke puts in, his more subjective opinions tend to be very wide of the mark (as to be fair are the opinions of literally every draft watcher, because no one has a clue and if they did they'd be working for an AFL club). I recall in 2014 he picked Reece McKenzie at pick 5 in the draft board's PD - in real life he went at pick 77 and was chopped without ever playing a game. Not saying I'd do any better, but he is just a bloke with a keyboard and internet connection like the rest of us.

Oh, I definitely wouldn't do any better, but he's paid to do it.

Literally his job and I don't remember him every nailing a draft.

Twomey has him at 10 in his updated phantom draft:

10TarrynThomasPhantom.jpg

POS: Midfielder
Ht 189cm, Wt 73kg, DOB 25/3/00
From North Launceston/Tasmania/Allies

It emerged after the division one championships that Thomas had been carrying a thumb strain and some bone bruising throughout the carnival. He took a couple of weeks off but returned recently for North Launceston. Thomas' championships for the Allies was a little underwhelming after he had starred for Tasmania earlier in the year at the under-18 Academy series. Thomas is a tough midfielder with good skills who can also play as a half-back or half-forward.
