Yeah, I think he's done. He hasn't been able to bulk up at all and doesn't have the innate knack of accumulation. Then there are the other flankers coming on. Leaves him in no man's land.

Hugely disappointing 180 from my hopes he'd break out as a full-time member of the back six. If he picks it up somehow, I'll be delighted. Love the way he kicks it
Yep. Is he concentrating too much on defense or does he just not know how to find the ball? Not much point having good disposal if you can't get a kick.

Agree there have been the odd favourable signs there, but as it stands this is the list of OOC players this year, and at this juncture there's only about I'd draw a line through before I get to his name.

I know this is the Miller Bergman thread, but Luke Parker shouldn’t be on that list.

Mate we can't afford to keep blokes on the list for another two years if they're not showing much.

So far all he has shown is a couple of decent kicks and an inability to physically compete.

It's the Flynn Perez effect. A bloke does 2-3 good things in his first couple of games and we cling onto them forever.

Looked like he had bigger shoulders watching him live, but whether it's enough muscle we'll see.
Definitely uses the ball well but but not as athletic as Hardemann, so it'll be an interesting HBF selection battle.

He has been on an AFL list for 3 years. That's a long time to transform your body.

I rate some of his attributes but he needs a blinder of a year to climb the pecking order in his position, IMO. Not completely unachievable but he's up against it.
Another comparison - Trent Rivers.

Skillful skinny backmen taken in a similar draft range in their respective draft years.

Rivers bulked up and brought it to AFL. Bergman for whatever reason hasn't been able to fortify his body to a suitable level as yet.

Close but Rivers is more athletic from what I've seen. I think we picked Mahony didn't we back then lol?
