He's still an Emergency for tonight, so it's not as if he's dropped off the face of the earth. He'll be a massive part of the VFL midfield this year at the very least

Kav is an accumulator, not sure if the back flank is an ideal position for him. He needs to go get the ball rather than read the play himself.
I question his competitiveness. Seems to have the talent, but doesnt appear to have any mongrel at all.
Thats the difference between someone like him and Melksham, despite Melks struggles you could never deny his competitive drive. Kav im not sold on.
Are his fake injured Hamstring healed yet? Surprising a top talent like him hasn't been blooded into the 1st as much as i hope.

Thing holding him back is his versatility.
Needs to be able to play on the different lines but at the moment seems (IMHO) that he is strictly an accumulating ball winner.

It was a serious issue when he was at the Jets.
If i recall correctly he played lie 5 tac cup games in 2 years because he just couldn't get out there
Maybe we should gift Kav to 50 games to find out???
Skills/class/polish he has all of, he just seems to lack some game awareness/understanding of the pace atm - to be honest I think thats something ~8-10 games this year would help with.
Whats the deal with him why hasn't he been getting games?

I suspect he may struggle to play regular AFL footy. He was a bit of a project pick, in that he dropped to 18 ,after missing most of his last TAC cup seasson. Doesn't seem to have any standout weapons.

I dunno. I just think that a draft should be judged when the draftees are in the actual throes of their careers, or even towards the end of their careers.
