Anyone else worried about Goldy's high hit today. Not sure who it was on but at the time I thought he might be in some trouble. If that's the case

Out Goldy, Gibson

In Boomer, Currie

If Goldy goes for that then Buddy will never play another game in his life.

Do people watch the game? Grima played on westoff and was told to stay on him wherever he went. Did a great job. Scott even mentioned this in his presser. Also gibo shut down boag in the second half, particularly the third q.

He made a few crucial mistakes in the crucial moments at the end of the Hawthorn game and he was meh today.

I have no concerns about his long term future. He'll be a good player. He just isn't best 22 at the moment.

There's no problems with Majak, Taylor, Ben J, Harps or Jizza. They all just need a bit more time before they are automatic selections.
Tef when you say he's made some crucial mistakes, are they off the ball positioning, covering opposition players what??
When and what he does with the pill is quite clean, when I see him have it.

It was mostly awareness issues.

He'll be a good player. There's no hurry. He's still a kid.

No. No. No. A million times no.
Are you saying we should dump him and turn our attention in finding another future brute of a back man? Or should we continue to let him play in the VFL til he learns and works on areas that he needs to work on. In which if he does he should be given more chances , where he slips in (when giving Grima,Thompson a spell)

This is the doubled edged sword that currently is the North Melbourne team.

That line could be said about how many in our side? 10? over the list what 20 or more?

We are playing the Dogs, no need to panic.

If Tarrant is fit, he plays imo. Boomer plays, other than that I wouldn't bring anyone else in unless injuries or suspension change it.

Not sure who goes out at this stage.

:D

If they averaged Majaks stats for the last two matches (8 disposals, 2.5 marks, 0.5 goals) they would be hung drawn and quartered.

Neither of them would have missed the two absolute sitters that Majak missed last week.

It's time for people to stop kidding themselves.

Thats after being knocked out in the first qtr and subbed off. First three games.

I think he has a knack for the game and goes to the right areas. His ruck work I think is above average too.

We should be turning Hansen into a tall defender to give Grima and Thompson some support and run for their money.

Boomer in for Siera, not sure that Scott will want to change up too much more. The more Tarrant misses, the less likely he is to come straight back in. Hanson for Daw is the other one, I dunno, call me crazy, I'd like to see Daw given another chance at Etihad. Looked ready to tear it apart against Brisbane.

This is easily your best account, Tef. You're a pretty damn good poster when you explain the reasoning behind your posts rather than just attacking posters with ad hominems and dismissing them outright.

I actually agree with everyone in here re: Majak. LaCie or Tarrant would've offered just as much as Daw up forward, but Daw offers an intangible that the other two don't and Majak is probably going to tear a crap team apart at Etihad. I'm just happy there are serious competition for spots up forward. The days of gifting games should be over

Majak didn't get in anyones way this week, was a massive week to week improvement in positioning.
Should have got a free kick in the 2nd quarter and it has been no surprise that Goldy's best form has come since Maj has been in the team.

Tarrant and Hansen should have a run in the maggoos and belt the door down.

I also don't want to see Petrie in the ruck, perhaps it's time for Maj to wear the vest and come on as everyone else tires.

In - jacobs and boomer
Out - Gibson and Wright (rested)/Siera

Yes i would go for that to.

Gibbo's disposal is very average and it's time we get the ones touch players in the team.
I'm sick to death of players fumbling and losing all our momentum when we sure flowing forward. It kills us time after time.

Daw stays
