Soft. He should get off, but prob wont. Wrong skin color.

I've wondered this before. It might just be coincidence but Indigenous players seem to get more suspensions and more upheld than others. I'd love to do the stats for it one day. It might just be anecdotal but it definitely feels that way, especially at the Saints. Ryder and Long both given iffy suspensions and not let off.

AFL Tribunal and logic are not synonymous

Carlton used lawyers to get around the wording which the AFL immediately tightened up. He needs to prove that the way the charge was given or the process has an error in it not his action. Much harder to do that show that the action didn't warrant the charge.

That's a good looking team. Best team of the year.

I think Seb may be sub, if the the midfield is getting beaten then Seb gets put in.
The issue with leaving Doogs out and Sharman in is two fold, you lose some of Doogs closing speed in the backline if Cordz is struggling for pace, and let’s be honest, that’s the question mark on Cordz. And we lose a bit of toughnes, aggression and defensive pressure with Sharman in the forward line.

That’s the conversation the coaches will be having today and it’s why I think Doogs will come in for Sharman and Cordz will probably start in the backline and see how that goes.

Sanity has to prevail on this board at some stage.

Depending on what their doing that could first team and second team.

Eg. First 18 is in the blue jumpers and second 18 is in the pink.

More likely best on best. If it’s meant to be test of Doug’s fitness it makes sense to put him against Max.
Could be the start of a group hug, its not "more likely" anything.

Funnily the logical and reasonable outcome in the Cripps one would have been for him to remain suspended but in this instance it wasnt a lack of logic that got them it was a technicality.

neither Dougal nor Cordy can play Sharman's role up fwd, so in with fewer forwards and an extra backman without a match-up.
Sharman can go back and defend if needed but neither Cordy or Dougal can go forward (imo) if King is there. plus I love Coopers leap at everything attitude and think that helps Butts and Higgins.

Yeah the leap at everything attitude was taken away by the Lions to the point he had 5 touches. Doogs close down speed puts him in front of Cordz though.

it's going to be a disappointing team selection
