Much prefer him as a defender for now until W. Dawson is fully capable of holding down his role. Looks like a much better defender than forward anyway and performing way better than I expected given his lack of experience.

I reckon he can be a swing man, that would mean more forward minutes going forward as we seem to have the backline potentially sorted with will dawson and logue on the return radar.

Fwd however we need someone desperately that can compete in the air,

Just looked it up and apart from Charlie Constable at 63 he was their only pick in the ND that year. The got Casboult at 3 in the Rookie Draft, Jaz McLennan around 20 and two of their own academy selections at the very end of the RD. One of them is Bohdi Uwland who was one of their best against us in Darwin.

They got their own academy pick that draft and someone else's that year.
