He will likely fumble a bit, make the odd wrong decision but will add invaluable support to our developing mods and likely pop up for a goal or 2.

Work ethic and tackling, plus a tall option.

I’m all for picking players of the future but there’s something to be said for picking some of the good older players we have now to show how it’s done before handing over the baton.

It was ludicrous that Hugh was left out for the likes of Kayne Turner last year. Why am I skeptical that all this is headed somewhere? Gee I wonder.

Good to see him in this week.

He's 100% capable of better and had a compromised pre season. Personally think he deserves to be dropped for being a continual *******, but I think i get it.
I'm not sure I get it.

Two old past it stagers are getting games not because the young blokes are letting down the side down but because the senior blokes are.

The non performing senior guys should be paying the price.

Laz is a bit stiff, felt he was okay last week. Would've also rather dropped Corr for Chom rather than Pink, who if we're being honest is playing his first batch of games against some pretty good forwards. Shiels didn't play in the reserves last week, so not sure why they've brought him straight back in. Greenwood played alright in the magoos but he's a bigger body for the middle.

You missed kennedy and cripps monster our mids last week? Our young trio need a hardened body to lend support, they will get there but are collectively 20 kilos off it atm.

Laz and pink paying the price for being honest triers that lack any real tools.

Pink has had to play as the number 1 Defender when he should probably be playing the Aidan Corr role.
Don't waste your breath arguing it. Some folks here seem to think that if you don't look like an elite KPD in your 3rd game of AFL footy it's time to be delisted.

Shiels has been reliable but was pretty awful in the GWS game, hope he's focused tomorrow. Greenwood can be quite handy in a pinch.

I understand the Pink snub, he would be absolutely no hope against the Lion talls tomorrow (to the point that it'd just be cruel) but Corr is definitely on some mighty thin ice for mine. If he has another dud game I'll be ropeable. Won't be dropped though because he's a leader... How did it come to this?

Will be great to see Chom back and I hope he performs well in his new role, there will be more than a few melts on here otherwise. Excited to at least see some change this week, I guess.

No
Greenwood selected to play CcJ role
Shiels to play the sub role

Ford comes into the 22 to help out forward

Jy probably gets more mid mins as a result

Wilphil would now need ford/a hff to be dropped so jy goes back to mainly hff and opens up the mid mins

Cheers Clarko.

Lazzaro has been removed from the CBA rotation. Why - because as you said in your pressa we need to adjust the balance of attack and defence. Why - because when we don’t get first possession in the centre we get slaughtered, generally by bigger bodies. Greenwood will play defensive mid and chop out for Xerri in the second ruck role.

Adding Jy to the midfield rotations only tips it more out of balance. He’d be behind plenty on the defensive mid scale

Other harder bodies to be rotated through if protection is your bag. Zurhaar comes to mind.

Developing younger players is more my bag - particularly over guys who'll struggle to see out the year.

Just looking for some improvement tomorrow night. Tackling - start sticking them with some Wardlaw like authority. Respect - amongst your team mates. Looking at you Aidan Corr Discipline- How about 6 less 50 metre penalties this week? Kicking Straight in front of goal - Those first ones become a cancer. Get Involved - Stephenson/Stephens Show us your worth a 5 year deal - Mr Zurhaar Smart Coaching Moves - no more falling asleep when the opposition kicks 6 unanswered goals. As Kanga Kennedy said “Do Something”!!!

Can’t complain, didnt really understand the praise around Lazz’s game last week and didn’t have the runs on the board the previous fortnight. Can argue Pink is a little stiff, but Chom will give us some aerial presence (wished it was forward but alas), and Greenwood can offer a fair bit, marking target, a forward that can lay a tackle (🤯) and some much needed experience likewise Shiels who I suspect will have a role on Neale.

I'm ok with what was done, but not excited.

Chom in was a must. Felt Greenwood was good coverage but not sure about Shiels.

Pink has not looked good, and at 25 he doesn't get the same "development" excuse that young KP players do. He was out muscled a lot. Laz, was poor in the centre square but ok off ball. Need a bit of both.
