He’s tall enough , strong enough and fit enough so he can run all day and he still has a good vertical leap on him. So rather than burning him out running hundreds of unnecessary kilometres let his opponent try and stop him in a dangerous position. I think it will reinvent him and give him at least another season.

What do you mean? Overhead marking is one of his strengths. However, he's typically competing against other wingmen. It remains to be seen if he could outmark defenders.

I’d actually prefer we play ralphsmith ahead of him currently

He could get 30d and 10 tackles and you'd argue that stats are a useless measure

If he was doing that nobody would ever want him dropped.

As it is he's doing roughly a third of that and having almost no impact on the game. Except for the 4 howlers in the first quarter which led directly to goals.

We wont trade him he’s an important cog in our new tools sponsorship which is way more important than any footballing decision.

Yes whenever he gets the ball I groan ‘cos I just know he’s going to get caught and cough it up or he’s going to kick straight to an opponent.
