Pickett was played as a fwd. If there's no room on the wing, then boost our VFL team.
The VFL team drafts well, Morris is a great coach.
Pickett, Kmac and JH would be great additions.
I think the last time we made the VFL grand final we had a lot of senior players.

Dees and suns have a lot of AFL players playing in their VFL teams.

We have no senior players come back from injury through the VFL.

Martin always has had an element of hit and miss, but when they hit they are great. Somewhere in between would be fine.

I assume Taranto is the 54% man. I don't rate him as high as others do because of that factor. But still valuable for the hard work he does.

Balta got towelled up because the Saints rebound left him high and dry so. He normally takes the space and relies on his athleticism to make that ground up, but the Saints kicking was so good he could make up the ground. Also Mini can take a fair chunk of blame, Young as our stopper should have been on him first bounce.

We don't have a forward. Yup.

It's not only about replacing young players. Short could easily play wing. Pickett could go back and taken Mac's wing. Banks could be given a shot. Just because Mac has been a big physical winger, doesn't mean that is the only style we could play. Banks is a lovely kick, why might offset his lack of physicality. He has not been a liability physically down back. Daicos for Collingwood is young and not physical, he goes alright on the wing.

There is a very real possibility that Pickett has played his last game. He could be back in jail by round 1. anyone know when he was due to sit his hearing?

And the only way they are out of the side is when they're injured. They never get dropped for poor form.

When you have priors. getting locked up again could be due to only minors offences for being involved in the background etc. There hasn;t been much update or news on what the deal was. He was only out on bail i thought?

Jesus. I clearly have never been to jail or court. I don't recall Andy Krakour's taking this long? So if he wasn't out on bail, he would have been locked up for 18 months then? how would have that worked?

Yep when someone pleads not guilty it drags out a lot longer than if they plead guilty.

Krakouer was charged in December 2006 and got convicted in June 2008.

If you’re refused bail then it’s just bad luck, you’re locked up until you go to trial, which is what the police wanted to do to Pickett.

LOL mate, i ****ing asked when his court-case is. I mentioned it, because its going to affect us at some point and i was wondering then. He very well could be guilty and sent to prison, even for only minor involvement as his priors are so bad.

He is in this situation because of himself - not me. He is in this situation because he has committed crimes like this before & the Australian Police believe he has been involved again.

He is innocent until proven guilty . On this I believe he was taken advantage of from his family members and was totally unaware or misled of what was going on. Really nothing we should be discussing until more information is passed onto us.

He went to juvie when he was 15, spent a couple of years in prison as an 18 year old. That's a long time ago.
10 years without incident will count in his favour.
