I’m confused what this is based off, he’s still played as hard as ever and continues to tackle really well?

It’s the default excuse for a favourite. They can’t just be playing poorly, it HAS to be an injury.

When Graham ends up being delisted/traded his shoulders will be to blame. Not his turtle-like speed, butterfingers, or inability to win the ball.

If only the whipping boys like Ellis & Butler were afforded the same excuses & leniency.

A 6 possession game for a midfielder, tackles or no tackles means he isn't getting the ball. Really not quick enough or agile enough, nor is he suited to shorter quarters as his game is built on stamina and outrunning his opponents. He is limited compared to Stack, Bolton, Ross who he is now competing with.

I don’t think you’ve read quote that I’m responding to, mate. My response is directed at the comment that Graham’s shoulder is “clearly not right”.

I not comparing him to any other players on our list.

Pretty sure people had exactly the same criticisms for Graham earlier last season as well, but his form improved as the year went on.
He didn't have much of a preseason after his shoulder reco, so it's understandable for him to not be at his best
By the time finals came around, he was easily best 22

Just watching him at the ground v GWS, you can see he struggles to raise his arm above shoulder height, his range of movement is limited. Obviously it doesn’t stop him playing, but it would be restricting him.

Are you suggesting 16 minute quarters in 2021?

I do not understand why some fans are trying to run him out..:(:drunk::eek::sick:

No one is running him out; only suggesting he may have better value as a trade piece.
Sounds attractive, a premiership player, almost a second and part of a side, and part of a team that has been top three years in a row.
Reads impressive. But for all that I'm not so sure - as are others - that he is even in our best 22 and has definite limitations.
At 22, he'll never have greater value and if that gets us better, all for it.

Why would they play an injured player. He rarely marks over head so it is hard to determine if the shoulder is good or not, but I haven't noticed anything.

People have short memories. 3 goal hero in the 2017 gf and showed stunning courage to play out the game in last years finals series. Thered a thing called loyalty. This young man deserves better than what he is getting from some of our supporters who just want play trade manager all day on football forums.

He’s steak knives in a deal, or a 3rd-4th round pick at best.

If anyone is hoping for more than that from a inside mid with concrete feet and butterfingers, that’s had 20+ disposals 6 times in 50 games you’re going to be disappointed.

He is worth much more than that. Crows would be nuts not to make a go home offer to him and I would expect a good enough offer to justify us asking for a low 20’s pick in this draft that is expected to be heavily compromised.

No way you let Jack Graham go for a low 30’s pick or worse.
