He doesn't have to. Good sides have serviceable AFL players in the 22-30 range, and I'd be happy to keep Lazz on that basis - but given we aren't yet a good side, he gets a game next weekLittle surprised he looked better playing on ball which is obviously his position. Don’t see how he can consistently get games for us there though
He gets a game until Jy commands his spot back imo.He doesn't have to. Good sides have serviceable AFL players in the 22-30 range, and I'd be happy to keep Lazz on that basis - but given we aren't yet a god side, he gets a game next week

He’s been doing very well in that role at VFL level. Doesn’t deserve the whipping boy status.Little surprised he looked better playing on ball which is obviously his position. Don’t see how he can consistently get games for us there though
Pretty simple equation for the next few weeks. He won’t play well if he’s taken out of the midfield

Jye will be out with concussion. Wardlaw, who knows? But. What if Will comes back?
And was clean with ball in hand. Something people have been calling for.2 goal assists and 10 tackles. I've cherry picked that statline massively, but that's a damn good effort
And gives his all. Runs all day until he can run no more. Can't say that about others in the team I am afraid. And was clean with ball in hand. Something people have been calling for.
No one in a North jumper deserves the whipping boy status in my opinion. He’s been doing very well in that role at VFL level. Doesn’t deserve the whipping boy status.
I reckon he is a bit behind as well, but, he took a solid step today in closing that gap. He had to, and he did. We have already seen he can run and goal, and he is still a pup. More than depth, who can know. But when a "depth" player comes in and goes ok - even in a team that is demolished - then that is a positive. Imo. Gets a tick for today. Imo.We actually rate him as a mid, just can't find a spot for him on a regular basis. Powell, Phillips, Cunners, Wardlaw. He's miles behind I suppose. But yeah you'd keep him.

Dont worry, ccj has a lock on the whipping boy role,He’s been doing very well in that role at VFL level. Doesn’t deserve the whipping boy status.
Got any other comedy gold?Thought he was pretty good, he looked more comfortable and confident.
That's understandable, he's only in his 3rd year. Another 3-4 preseasons & he'll be able to run a game out.I am so pleased for Charlie. Tried hard all day but ran out of legs just at the end.
