It’s not about that though.

I agree our list is taking shape. With McKercher coming on board he like a couple of others slips back another rung.
He is quick and rather fit, so am sure he will get some opportunities next season.

Wish him the best, but bit players in a squad that has finished 17,18,18 and 17 don’t tend to have longevity.

But hey he isn’t Robinson Lazzaro on that front.
'Robinson Lazzaro' absolutely should not work, but somehow... it does. You strange campaigner

Phillips and Powell have plenty of pressure on their shoulders next year to perform and rightfully so. Fourth year coming up. Time to show something.
Phillips polled Brownlow votes in his most recent start

Too many take themselves too seriously. I definitely do not fall into that category.

On a date once this lady called me eccentric. I didn’t argue.

People tend to enjoy my company and I do enjoy making them laugh. Mostly at my expense of course .

Not the worst way to be imo .

It’s why I slow down to read your posts when I’m scrolling.

Geez if he doesn’t make it, he’ll be a walk up start as a strength and conditioning coach, gotta respect it, leaving no stone unturned.

I really want to see Lazz, Phillips and Powell all to make it and be high level players. All three of them are exceptional kids, who are professional both on and off the field.

Really? I'm sure they train hard. But to me, they all come across as timid and anxious private school boys. Toby Greene is a professional. Whenever he is on the field he does everything he can to try and win the game for his team. I'd challenge anyone to come up with something professional any of these three has done to try and win us a game. They play miles from the edge. I can't remember any of them even getting reported.

Not keen on Nick Daicos as a player using that same logic mate?

If you read this post in this guys voice - it’s heaps funnier.

Definition of the “teachers pet”. Coaches absolutely love him and the way he goes about it. Clarko is a big fan. There is a big belief that his hard working nature, professionalism, smarts and willingness to learn will allow him to be a regular at AFL level. Expect him to be trialled in all 3rd’s of the ground in the trial matches, backline, midfield and half forward.

Rewatching the Rd 24 game against GC, I forgot how good this guy and Powell were in that game.
I agree, he was seriously good that day. The only asterix is that the pressure that Gold Coast applied that day wasnt up to AFL standard.

I am massive fan of his attitude and want to succeed and at worse he will be a handy depth/role player for us over the next 12 months and probably a year or two after.
