And then did not get taken from the ground which caught my eye .Pause the video and step through, the GCS player clearly gets to the ball first. Careless & High, tick tick. Severe, well that's up to interpretation I guess but the kid was knocked out.
it's hard to know what he could have even done differentlyI thought it looked more like he was trying to get out of the way a bit. Nothing malicious about it. Two guys running after a ball and one of them has "eyes only for the footy".
Yeah, shouldn't brace. Should've went head on into the guy and awarded himself a brain injury. He turned and braces for contact. Straight forward suspension. 4 weeks? Eh, not sure, but when you give 3 games for the Weideman suspension then yeah...
His Nonna died not long ago unfortunately...He's a good Italian boy, I'd have got his Nonna to make the tribunal some lasagna, would get off on appeal for sure.
Maybe his nonno could make them an offer they can't refuse? His Nonna died not long ago unfortunately...

Exactly. At no point in the video was Visentini at risk of hitting his head. He looks to be significantly taller than his opponent, who was also bending down.
This is a really weird hill to try to die on.

Yet again, they don’t challenge.
It’s odd, and quite frankly soft of the club to not show some fight for their players.
Mate we challenged Weideman when he literally had his legs taken out from under him. It wasn't a suspendable action and it was still upheld. It should have been a free kick to Weideman but that didn't matter. Go back to the Weideman thread. Watch what he was banned for. That got upheld. That should tell you about the chances of ever overturning anything at the VFL tribunal.Yet again, they don’t challenge.

His best form so far has been as a forward. If he makes it and that is if as he still has to keep getting better he will be a forward / ruck in my view. His forward craft looks like he has something to work with. His ruck craft is still a bit plain.Happy to keep the conversation going here ant555, could Vigo feasibly become a permanent fwd who fills in in the ruck?
showed some promising signs at times this year at VFL level. The 3 goal game v Southport was probably his best. I agree (from your post in the other thread), he does have some genuine fwd craft, unsure if has the capacity to be a fwd (almost) full time
fingers crossed we see him come on. A genuine fwd who can chop out in the ruck is something we've missed sans Peter Wright for some timeHis best form so far has been as a forward.
