Clarke is in a form slump, he is facing one of the best bowlers in the world who is targeting him with complete overs of short balls, has been hit on the forearm, on the head, etc, and he is still out there trying to grind out an important innings.

The mettle of a great player is not when he is in great form and clubbing centuries, it is when he is in bad form and being tested by brutal short deliveries and still grinds out a score. Does anyone doubt Clarke can do this?

Ironically enough bumper don't really get you out that often. Morkel overdoes the short stuff even if he is effective at roughing people up.

He was not agreeing with you. He was pointing out that people are hypocrites - not that this is against the rules.

He said Morkel was bowling six bouncers an over and the Windies only bowled three orfour and they said it was bad for the game.

When is it legal to bowl six bouncers in one over?

Good to hear sense coming from Michael Holding. Morkels efforts will be for naught if he doesn't get Clarke. If Clarke does see him out then it is a massive waste of energy, considering Steins injury.

Imagine having a boner while batting.

Surely some has had an erection during batting.

And lots of cameramen watch the women watching the cricket in SA.
Thing is if you went to the cricket and took photos of women security would throw you out.

Be interesting to see how far Warner takes his innings. Ideal conditions, no Steyn..
