I think its pretty simple guys......

Pickering has to get JWS a new home....the guy is injury prone but a quality player when fit....the best way to sell him to prospective clubs is to blame north.......deflect everything from the risk of taking the punk on...

Harro isnt the best mid getting around.....the best way to sell Harro is as a good clubmen that is injury free and will give all his got........

Pickering (whilst it still pi$$es me off) is only doing his job.........subtle he aint!!

An article full of old news, but the following caught my attention;

"Harris and former teammate Sam Power, who was also delisted by the Roos yesterday after playing 123 games, have employed sprint coach Clint Youlden to help improve their fitness.
''We're really enjoying it and over the last five weeks for me and three for Sam, we've really seen some results with the times and techniques and he's taught us a lot, '' said Harris."

WTF is with this, we are multi-million dollar professional sporting club. How could we not of tried to get Harro trained in such techniques while he was with us?

As for Power, no amount of training or technique will help him;)

This really opens yours eyes and makes you see what a couple of no class, egomaniacs Gibbo and JWS were. Good luck to Daniel I hope he gets picked up in the draft its a shame we coudnt get a trade done for him.

This was my first reaction Jezaroo when I read the article. I wish Harro all the best and hope he gets picked up however if some other training regime turns Harro around to what we had hoped he could be it will be an indictment on the former Coaching group.

I wish Harro all the best in continuing his AFL career too. Champion bloke and forever a part of our culture at Arden St. I hope he's picked up and has a blinder of a season in 2010.

ALL CLASS!

Liam Pickering said that Harris asked to be traded last season when he had fallen out of favour with Laidley. An offer on the table was Collingwood's 3rd round pick for Harris but North wanted more and no deal was done.

I wonder if we are still interested.

You should be. He'll die for the cause and provide plenty of ball for the outside mids you guys have. You could do worse! Tony Shaw on 3AW last night said "I'd be going after Harris ahead of Ball!"

He has started working hard on his own time?

well that... well and truly puts to an end the myth Laidley cost Harro his career... Well done Harro for taking responsibility for your own downfall over the past month... I am sure someone will pick you up... to dam good to be lost to footy at 27... :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Oh, the irony.

Graciousness hasn't nothing to do with the truth.

In fact Laidley could learn a lot from Harris.

Harris made a far more graceful exit than Laidley.

Laidley has never taken responsibility for one single **** up.

The handling of Harris was one of them.

Aka, still got what it takes?

Recall during the Draft back in 2000, Kevin Sheehan likened him to Brett Ratten. Was always a fan of Ratten, so I've followed him ever since. Can't believe he fell out of favour, as I reckon a guy like that who can win his own footy should always have a place at the top level, pace, disposal or otherwise.

What are the main knocks on him? Pace? Fitness? really reckon the Pies could do with him, especially if we miss out on Ball, as O'Bree needs some support. Would you recommend we take him?

2 words - Andrew Swallow.

Swallow is younger, faster and better skilled. That's why he fell out of favour. It happens, and he understood that. He lacks pace, his kicking has no depth and he's too one dimensional. He's a top bloke and he's great at extracting the pill and he'd be great for a club that needed that but we don't.
