Must admit when I watched the game I didn't think Harro had a shocker at all. Spent his usual time on the pine and seemed to do ok when came on, but looking at the stats this morning - only 6 posessions. I am still waiting for Harro to get to the level of Sam Mitchell or Coghlan which he seems to have in him, yet it is still not happening.

We heard rumours of his OP, but no confirmation. I am really hoping he can kick on as a player, as he's been around for a while now and as much as we love the bloke, we have to admitt that getting the ball over 20 times a game is stuill a rarity for Harro...

When is it going to happen for him?

I noticed this as well. I hope this is just a form/confidence slump and he can bounce back soon ala Wells on Sat night. I really thought this would be Harro's year and Michtell vs Harro comparision would conintue. Whereas Mitchell and his centre square combo are slughtering them, Harris is sitting on the bench.

I'm the biggest harro fan

Daniel Harris - I know I should, but I just can't throw out my: Lucky jocks

lol that means he must wear them on game day cause that would have to be one of his superstitions

Had a slow start to the season but has got better and better

Progress has accelerated in the last 3 wins and should get better and better (can't ask for much more than that)

Well I refer to him as The Hurricane. I tell you what, when he plays well, we look a much better side. I'm not sure why Laidley has him spending so much time on the bench.

He has looked out of it earlier in the year, not sure if he is trying to get him through the season with some kind of nagging groin problem but he has looked at times to have problems running out games.

*shrugs*

I have no idea but he has never looked 100%.

Yeah, you might be right. But most times this year when we've scored quick goals in succession, Harris has been a big part of it pumping the ball forward. His foot skills are among the best at the club & he is not afraid to use his opposite. I think he has a very bright future. Particularly considering how good he is close-in.

he started slow but has improved every week.He will get better and he is a gun player and im glad he is in our side. The thing i like is his tuff ness and he goes hardand i love that.

Love Harris. Love him.
When Harris in in the middle I feel a lot more confident that we will get center clearance. He is so good at getting the ball out of a pack situation. Very strong around the hips. He may get tackled yet still stands up to get a clean handball away.
Can't understand the "can't run games out theory". That's just rubbish I reckon. He must be carrying an injury or maybe not in Dean's good books.

I know a soon to be 11 year old who thinks Harro is fantastic.

It has a bit to do with Harro's jumper number. However , when ever the little bloke has had the opportunity to harrass Harro (in person) , Harro could not have been more cooperative for photos /autographs or a quick chat.

In fact that is something all of our players can be congratulated for.....All are willing to give an autograph when asked and willing to have a chat about this and that....

I reckon we have always had the most approachable players, never seen any of them snob anyone off. I was in absolute awe of Wayne Carey when I was younger and when I got to meet him I was so nervous but a nicer bloke you couldnt meet. The boys really do deserve three cheers for their friendliness :D

Agreed, our players are all approchable (but I've never approached them!! LOL)
Would love to meet a few of them one day, just gotta find the time with work/uni etc) still, from what I've heard, they always wanna help others out, be it a photo, autograph or whatever! Good to see too because we need them to be giving good impressions off for future members etc.

Good work nicole! Thank god YOTR and ronaldo aren't here to ruin your thread again!

Lucky jocks.........

Orange ones for "Cricket season"

Footy season "Doesn't matter ,I'm not supersticious about Footy!"(Harro's soon to be 11 Y/O fan.)

Xmas Family Day last year was my first Family Day and I was really shy to go up to any of the players.

After awhile I got the hang of it and probably would have asked the boys what colour jocks they were wearing :p
The only player who seemed a bit unfriendly was McKernan. It was his birthday so I said happy bday and everything but he just came across as rude.

Maybe I'm just seeing this as a comparison to all the other players

BreEe20......What colour are your jocks?

You don't sound shy to me. :p

I wish I had not said that.......Too late now I s'pose
