Almost a very good game. Needs to be a little stronger, dropped a few marks early he could have taken if he gritted his teeth more, another preseason may be the making of him.

Also equal second for us for contested possessions with 13 for the game, may not go as hard as others but stats show that he isn’t just a pure outside player afraid of contact, the laconic approach i think fools people.

I thought he had a good game without being great. The last 5 minutes weren't great from him but geez he's so far ahead of Myers its not funny. I thought he impressed with some strong marking around the ground as well which is a massive area of weakness for our midfield. That alone should keep him in the side if he does that regularly.

Seemed to play a lot more as a half forward pushing up as an outlet and getting involved in link up play.

That is certainly more his go, and it highlights his foot skills that were very good tonight

Noticably stronger around the contest. One of the hardest Bombers to tackle tonight which was pleasing to see.

Instead of hanging around the skirts of a contest, he's actually going in and using his strength to dispose of it.

I reckon he got down and dirty more yesterday than every game he played this year combined.

He also noticeably played much quicker than usual. He usually slows the game down.

I hope the coaches and playing group recognize that during the week. Sounds like it'll keep him in.

I like him, just wish he’d simplify things. First option is generally the best option. Make it very straightforward for him. See ball, get ball, do whatever looks right immediately don’t spend ages trying to find the perfect option.

That kick to Fantasia on the lead was magnificent.

Best game in 12 months. Was proactive in winning his own ball & had an impact on game. Was like Fyfe brought out the best in him.

This needs to be the benchmark for what’s acceptable on a weekly basis now.
