I hope there's no truth to the rumours of Adelaide being into Petrie. I'd be staggered if he left but I'd prefer we just locked him away ASAP.

I would of thought there was more of a chance of Julia getting re-elected then this happening!

Oh and two thumbs up for all the boys re-committing:thumbsu::thumbsu:

Agree OF.

Great news about ScottMc, very well deserved. Robbie a bit lucky IMO but hopefully can step up and repay the faith.

Your hate for Tarrant knows no bounds. At least you're consistent.

Where the **** is Harper's contract?

5 years @ 3,350,4,450,5 with bonuses should get it done. What are we waiting for?

Saying he 'is a bit lucky' IMO is hate is it? This coming from a poster who bags Mullett very harshly at every opportunity to.promote Kennedy.

Taz has to step up. And he might, so there is no issue.

News like this makes me very happy, one word.

Culture.

We are flying atm.

Good on everyone!

Harper will be our best player by 2015, I'm sure everyone understands this. He won't be going anywhere, just might take a little longer to figure out the contract.

I don't bag him per se, like I bag LT ;)

I just think he hasn't shown the talents we are crying out for in the back half.

Happy for the fish to play on a wing at the expense of an Anthony for instance, but yeah, Kennedy's lethal disposal is something we need.

In any case I'm all aboard the Wilko train now.

Yeah, i've noticed your rather starting remarks concerning Wilkins.... ;)

Mullett is no star, but reckon he could be a handy player in time. Kennedy has lethal disposal (and pace) maybe, but there is a reason he still in the 2s - more to AFL than just that.

You do know Saintly31 that you can be bias, without putting other players down.

You admit that you have hardly seen Kennedy play, but keep putting him down, whilst talking up Fishy to the enth degree.

I would take you more seriously if it wasn't so obvious.

A salient point.

Everyone is entitled to the favorites and their not so favorites. But Robbie kicked 4 against WCE and 4 against Collingwood. More than our superstar Petrie kicked against all the top 4 teams combined.

And has played 25 games. 25.

CuriousLPlater, who have I put down?

I think Taz has to step up his game - is that too harsh?

I think (from the limited time ive seen) there is a reason why Kennedy is in 2s - is that too harsh?

You seem incapable of accepting any comment towards your favourites that isnt ultra-positive. Thats an issue for you, not me.

The reason Kennedy is in the twos, other than his knee setback, is that he hasn't had the aerobic capacity to match his natural ability.

Fair enough. So that in itself suggests all the calls for his inclusion may still be premature.

I am still unsure as to where am 'putting him down'.....

Surprised Taz got yet another long term deal. I hope he is still on very minimal money, he hasn't earnt a big pay day just yet. But I reckon he's building nicely. Signing up McMahon is huge though.

Harper definitely still the big one yet to be done.

Grima, Wright, Mullett, etc will have their contracts extended with a good year. I don't fear them being poached. And obviously not Firrito, Harvey and Petrie either.
