Every club has it's share of loudmouth, tosser and boofhead supporters.

So we get one example from the Geelong club on an internet board and all of a sudden there are people hoping for a Port win just to spite this idiot.

This is the point that I have been trying to make with regards to 'the lid' all year. It doesn't matter how much supporters carry on and get excited. Why the **** should we control ourselves and 'keep the lid on things'. The players should keep the lid on, but we should enjoy the ride as much as possible.

Most of Ports confidence comes from all the talking they have been doing all week.

The talking does not give them bigger bodies, more games in their bodies or talent. There just the same.

Ignore the talking, as you should and analyse on pure on ground efforts in the finals.

Port beat North 87 points

Geelong beat North 106 points

Port beat West Coast 3 points

Geelong beat Collingwood 5 points

Collingwood beat Westcoast on top of that proving Collingwood were a better team than Westcoast.

Geelong have preformed better in the two finals games.

Nothing rational based on the finals games played would make you tip Port.

The other thing that's swayed people is Mark Williams talk during the week. Its has nothing do with the game being played 2.30 today.
