Don't be misunderestimating the orange man with small hands and planetary ego.
Taking twitter away from Trump would be political suicide. Trump is creating a massive us against them divide and Twitter is his main tool.
He enrages the progressives, they in turn rile back, and he enrages them more. He is attacking their institutions, their media, he is tearing down everything they have ever built.
The rust belt will never hate Trump more than they will hate the people in the big cities who they think ruined their lives.
The huge irony is it was people exactly like Trump who ruined their lives. But they don't care anymore. They just want everyone else to feel the pain of having everything around you torn down and Trump at least gives them that.
The man is a train wreck and a genius at the same time.
Said it before and i'll probably say it again, what a massive difference a tiny tiny margin, in the grand scheme of the election, (in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania) has created.

I don't think he's a genius, he's just a chancer, he throws shit and see what sticks, there's no real strategy behind it.
His strategy is obvious, watch/read right wing news on tv/internet, see an embellished, inaccurate story, get in a rage, and then tweet about it, without any fact checking.
I disagree. The GOP will get some crazy shit through while everyone is distracted by his antics. Even repealing the stream protection rule is scandalous in itself. But because all of this other crap is simply so outrageous the stream protection rule has not got a minutes coverage.
God knows what else they will tear down while everyone else is melting at the irrelevant spot fires he is lighting left and right.
The fact the Mexico wall is still happening without any serious debate is completely unbelievable.
But everyone is too busy defending Obama against something that will not and cannot be proved or disproved to have time to confront Trump on any real issues.
Everything Trump does is a distraction to stop people looking at the really scandalous stuff.
Everyone, and mostly the media are being played off a break.
The distraction is unintended most times, the GOP is just using him as a decoy while they do their evil shit, they work independently, there's nothing deliberately planned between the two. The only one who are playing it beautifully are the GOP
Trump is genuinely unwell, the guys just goes off every time in public and people think he's a genius because there are enough stupid people in America that empowers his lunacy. Just like him being lucky enough to be born in a rich family with unlimited funds, he is lucking out here

All of the DC media are just hanging on his twitter rants and responding to his latest rant? That's a job for the junior reporters at a paper.
There will be numerous investigative journalists completely ignoring, or laughing like most people, at Golfing Donny's rants while they are investigating and compiling information on what's really going on.

That can be said about a lot of supporters of things.
He did get elected. And managed to do it with both Hillary and the GOP (until he was their candidate) working against him.

More Bradbury than by design, any other GOP candidate would've caned Hillary Clinton by more, he didn't win it as much as Hillary Clinton lost it, she's an absolutely horrid candidate
