Trump pressers are almost always some mix of self-promotion, abusing journalists, lying about the state of the US economy, lying about the severity of the coronavirus, taking cheap shots at Democratic governors, making dubious claims about medications and absolving himself of any blame for anything that has gone wrong.

I beg any pro Trump posters here to read this article. It’s not fake news. It’s accurate journalism published by a media organisation favourable to Trump. A timeline of indisputable facts.

Addressing 400 CIA agents (who are professional, apolitical, and presumably among the most ruthlessly efficient BS detectors in the world) he stood before the Agency's Memorial Wall - which bears a star for each of the 117 CIA agents killed in the line of duty - and told the gathering that no-one would ever break his record for the number of appearances on the cover of Time magazine.

(Which, apart from being unbelievably tasteless, wasn't even true - surprise, surprise. Nixon set the record.)

I'm not saying he's been perfect but geez. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say, and context is king. A timeline that doesn't offer context is pointless. May as well blame the Trump admin for not predicting the lotto numbers.

Compare the per capita stats from leftie nirvanas such as Denmark and the US id faring better by most metrics. Italy and Spain? Forget about it. Statistically, the notoriously ineffective US health system is functioning more effectively than much of the healthcare utopias of Europe.

Sadly all the shortcomings associated with his high end NPD are now becoming self evident.
This crisis is far from over and it will continue to showcase his appalling leadership and inability to empathise.
He really is just a bystander now diminished to abusing reporters , giving false hope and finding any diversion he can.
