The level of vitriol and frankly toxic culture in this thread is getting out of hand. As such, the thread will be monitored actively for posters who drag down the quality of posting for all others, and they will have their access to the thread removed.

Further, reference to TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) and its counterpart 'Trumpanzee' or anything similar will no longer be allowed. Much like other tropes of that nature, they serves as a conversational barrier and fall-back point for people to simply sling mud. That's unacceptable.

As always, please submit ideas for the thread title by tagging me! Winner announced when I get around to it.

Thanks.

Donald J Trump - The National Guard has been released in Minneapolis to do the job that the Democrat Mayor couldn’t do. Should have been used 2 days ago & there would not have been damage & Police Headquarters would not have been taken over & ruined. Great job by the National Guard. No games!

Fix it with the thing that started it 🤔

So far on live-stream I've seen antifa cells co-coordinating to burn down buildings, AA's breaking into stores, looting, performing drive by's, murdering business owners .. but apparently this is all actually a false flag led by white supremacists?????

None of this would have happened had Obama remained the POTUS or even if Hillary won. The health system would have dealt with Corona and the riots wouldn't have happened. Presumably.

Brain dead rubbish.

Some national leadership with proper sentences from a leader, not about 'magic cures' or endless garbage about polls or crap about postal votes. That may have stemmed the current mess the nation is in.

He's had near 4 years to 'fix' Obama care & reign in big pharma. Hahahaha, what a big fat liar he is.

Refers to himself as "one of the normal people" while completely dismissing the opinions of an entire voting base????? People who dont engage in discourse with people of differnet views, arent "normal" home boy! Theyre every bit the ideologue they claim others to be
Actually he’s completely right.

By any objective measure, Trump is a swindler, quite likely a criminal on dozens of counts, a serial bankrupt, a serial sexual pest, someone whose narcissistic disorder is so acute as to cause him to take all manner of reckless risks with the wellbeing of the people of the nation he is entrusted to lead, and someone who is signally incapable of constructing any more than a couple of coherent sentences in a row.

So we have this situation where the man in arguably the most powerful position in the world is actually incapable of communicating any notion in a form that anyone can actually use.

His groupies deserve no free pass. Most of them on here have shown themselves time and again to be as incapable as their hero of articulating what they stand for. I daresay the majority of them have been put on Ignore by most of the non-insane posters on here, so they're presumably just shouting to themselves on a keyboard in a room somewhere, which is how it should be.

I think it would appeal to everyone if he said it's the duty of every American to stand up against the government when they seek to impose tyranny on them.

He could say he supports the protesters but not the looting and hit all the bases
The people protesting are not his demographic.
His demographic are the ones running over the protestors.

This cracked me up
Are news.com.au owned by Murdoch worried that some Trump fan on Big footy contact these guys to let them know the cops are after them

Two men in the vehicle were later identified on social media, based on the vehicle in the video being posted on the alleged driver’s Instagram, but news.com.au has decided not to name them, pending confirmation from Visalia Police Department who have been contacted for further details.

9/13 (up to 13 now) voted Trump in 2016

Maybe, just maybe, there's more to this than Blue v Red?
lol you're the one that made it Blue vs Red with the "MAGA" comment in the first place. BTW FWIW the states going to hell as we speak Minneapolis (Minnesota), Chicago (Illinois), Seattle (Washington) & Wash DC were all blue in 2018

Sitting here outside in my yard in the States under curfew (10pm - 6am until said otherwise) with multiple police choppers overhead and multiple cars about 100 metres from me around the corner. Had a bit of ash land in my land a few hours ago from a fire. Don't think this is going away soon.

This is a little way away from the south-east Melbourne suburbs.

Not wanting to enter an argument but to purely give a point of view of statistics: pretty much every major city votes Democrat. There are many reasons for this, not relevant to this particular discussion, but the higher the population density, the more likely the vote for democrats.

Also, higher population densities = greater opportunities for protests.

Again, not trying entering an argument here but rather to provide context.

If you were in rural Illinois, let's say, and probably voted Republican, would you go and do a massive pro-republican protest in your local town of 25,000 people? No, you'd go to Chicago...

In any country, if their is or are groups of people the nation doesn't care about, then in the end why would they care about the nation or others?

This is a cry for help. They are treated like they don't matter. In the end it boils over. This has been going on since the 1960's. Its worse now with the brainless nationalistic white supremacist types who infest the US, especially in the police force & the GOP.

Add to it a severe economic shock with huge job losses, juxtaposed to a rising stock market with huge stock buybacks with tax payers bailout funds. The wealth thus redistributing upwards once again. Meanwhile those who have no health care, no stocks/bonds, no job or savings are basically left to rot.

No wonder they protest & it gets nasty.

"There are other situations though where Trump speaks the truth, liberal journalists have a hissy fit and announce he’s full of shit, then the facts prove him correct.

Like when he said Muslims in New Jersey had celebrated the twin towers falling and the media claimed he was lying."

This was the occasion I had in mind when I made those comments.

He was interviewed and said Muslims cheered and celebrated. Media outlets denied that and reported that no one cheered or celebrated. The former mayor of New York and former New York City Police Commissioner and many others however agreed with Trump. In light of that, all the media had left was to focus not on the interview but the hyperbole of an election rally where he mentioned "thousands". It doesn't matter though because that wasn't "the occasion" I was referring to.

American Muslims celebrated the attacks. Whether it was dozens, hundreds, or thousands we cannot confirm.
When Trump said "thousands and thousands" and he saw it on TV, the facts do not support that account. You do not dispute this.

So people were right to question that account, weren't they?

This was not an example of Trump speaking the truth and being proven correct by the facts.

Rather, it was easily debunked bullshit.

I don't think this sort of story helps the situation at all.

It's intentionally being used to link the actions of a police officer to Trump.

It's like saying the only people upset about this killing are democrat voters, except they can't say that because then all the riots are democrat looters.

So the next best thing is to make out like Trump supporters and conservatives are on the side of the police officer. Which is rubbish.

This cop will go to prison and rightfully so because power has responsibility and misuse of power should be punished more severely. That goes for media groups seeking to stir up tensions, release a group of now angry people into the world and then act astounded at what happens.

I genuinely think that 99% of the USA is on the side of the protesters and 99% of the USA is against the looters.

At least out of towners. He might say they haven't sent their best.

Still, nothing says "Justice for George" like scoring a free LV handbag in Portland.

Yep, and other sources say the whites supremacists ‘fake protesters’ are causing the most trouble. So it’s probably a bit of both.
Still, you are not quite on point with your response.

it's a cry for help that's being hijacked by antifa because they're at least somewhat organised and itching to take advantage. watch the livestreams and you'll see. AA's are (generally) randomly looting while white boys are methodically lighting buildings on fire.

So much sick irony in all of this.

People getting angrier at people looting clothing from a store than they ever have at the literal looting of the US treasury by corporations for decades.

Also, since forever it's been "We need our guns! What if the cops or the government ever try to bully us with force! We need the capacity to fight back against tyranny!" But today it's "Yeah, well, if you're gonna block the street then you should expect to be hurt, the government needs to do it's job ya know"

There's enough anger in these cities without adding outside agitation.

I realise Candace isn't everyone's cup of tea but watch the video.

If anything I said wasn't true, then groups like Antifa wouldn't exist, or garner much support.

Your thoughts?
