Mod Notice

The level of vitriol and frankly toxic culture in this thread is getting out of hand. As such, the thread will be monitored actively for posters who drag down the quality of posting for all others, and they will have their access to the thread removed.

Further, reference to TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) and its counterpart 'Trumpanzee' or anything similar will no longer be allowed. Much like other tropes of that nature, they serves as a conversational barrier and fall-back point for people to simply sling mud. That's unacceptable.

As always, please submit ideas for the thread title by tagging me! Winner announced when I get around to it.

Thanks.

There’s a lot of genuine protestors amidst the rubbish.
Sorry, can’t be bothered watching her propaganda.
Only the suggestion from (I believe) a local teacher that his 14 year old students are being encouraged to go on the attack.

There's enough anger in these cities without adding outside agitation.

I realise Candace isn't everyone's cup of tea but watch the video.

Its terribly sad.

As said the decades & decades of injustice & racist bias has been amplified by the current economic situation. The death of yet another black man by police is a small match in a big pile of dry wood. So up the conflagration goes.

This guy is upset, & rightfully so.

But so many protesters & looters feel the nation doesn't care about them, so why should they care about anyone or anything else.

The US has come to this under its own hand. No one else to blame here.

Yep, but who knows what’s true- the whole place is a mess. Candace has nasty ideas and a poor track record on important issues. So it doesn’t seem unreasonable that I don’t care what she has to say.

Well, the hunting bow is protected by 2nd amendment
I suppose it’s not a stretch (in the disunited states of America) that to fire it is an expression of free speech...

It certainly helps with keeping true to what you think is real and right when you self censor alternative opinions.

Owens is too much of a provocateur that dives too deep on emotional issues without holding as much stake in stats but discounting something because she reports it is part of the problem.

Self-censoring is when you censor yourself.

I guess that depends how you define "the problem".

I'm not sure that paying more attention to Candace Owens is part of any solution.

If I've used the phrase incorrectly I apologise.

My intention was that the average person already consumes media curated for them, selectively chosen and particular voices amplified and other quieted down, so continuing to do that to yourself by further reducing alternative view points is shooting yourself in the foot.

He should be, assuming he was using a deadly weapon against people who weren't posing a clear and present danger.
Apparently after he was tackled to the ground, the protesters torched his car. He then feigned to a news station that he had done now wrong despite the clear video evidence.

Best country in the world though...

Alternative viewpoints are fine provided they're not dishonest and fact-free.

The Don has made America pretty great hasn't he?

So far on live-stream I've seen antifa cells co-coordinating to burn down buildings, AA's breaking into stores, looting, performing drive by's, murdering business owners .. but apparently this is all actually a false flag led by white supremacists?????
Pretty confident you made most of that up.

He says ‘these people’ and ‘they’ to describe reprehensible dickheads looting and encouraging others to do so ..... somehow that becomes Soros funded agitators.

P.S. Our grandfathers were part of an Antifa organization.

It was called the Australian Army and they fought the fascists and Nazis for the freedom of the world.

When did being anti fascist become a bad thing in western democracies.

Well how about that - he's walking around being interviewed by the media. Not a cop in sight.

This guy. Outside his car yelling, "all lives matter" then he uses a bow and arrow against protestors. Gets attacked. Goes on Fox News and claims he was attacked by two African Americans while he was inside his car and not outside.

Feral racist.

One of my favourites after they spent years crapping on about Obama. Oh, and 25% unemployment:

Donald Trump predicts he could rid the United States of its $19 trillion debt in two terms as president.

Eliminating the national debt, which Trump said he could accomplish "over a period of eight years," was one of several ambitious claims Trump made in an interview with The Washington Post published on Saturday. The Republican front-runner explained that he will govern in the similarly atypical, convention-defying manner he has campaigned.
