We drafted him as a small forward despite his highlight package showing nothing in regards to him playing small forward. His playing style is suited to the wing. He was miles off it both pace and fitness wise when he arrived for the vfl. He got better in the vfl but he was still nowhere near being influential at that level. We need to cross our fingers crossed that he his a competitive beast and will improve through sheer work ethic.

Did he kick goals in WA?

Have just heard the most staggering thing.

Apparently Hansen Jr has left the Richmond VFL game at half time and flown home that night/ weekend and left the club?

Unlikely to be coming back. Club will never trust him again if true.

Extraordinary.
Ah well only 6months wasted on him

Someone just had their list spot saved

We should really only recruit players from vic in the mid-season draft. Not defending his actions but did they really think a teenager from Kalgoorlie was going to stick around at north getting paid jack shit, I know it's the mid-season draft but ffs did they even bloody interview him before drafting him?

Was he told he wasn’t needed next week and to take some time off or just left?

Heard he comes from a great family and that moving to Vic wouldn’t have been an issue for him.

Agreed mate, wasn’t on the injury report either and didn’t play last week.

Young defender Jackson Archer was a late withdrawal prior to the bounce and was replaced by Bode Stevens, while Robbert Hansen jnr left the field in the second term and failed to return due to quad soreness.

From memory, he was shown waking around the boundary early in the third quarter.

If I had to guess, he probably flew back home a bit earlier due to his injury ruling him out of finals.

flying home builds character, look at that corn frances fellow from port for example,

22 minutes to shoot down a rumour is pretty quick, even for giantroo's standards.

From the VFL footage - Hansen Jnr comes off around the 20minute mark of the second quarter. Then in the 3rd quarter 15minute mark, it's reported by Andrew McCormack that he has been ruled out for the rest of the game with quad soreness.
