This thread is not about Covid, lockdowns, or vaccines. It is about Donald Trump. While Trump was in office during the pandemic and his response to Covid is relevant, there are pertinent threads for you to post your opinions on those things in.

There is a balance. You can't have densely populated regions of relatively small land size dictate the laws of the land when they own so little of the land. On the other hand you can't have very sparsely populated areas dictate the laws of the land to people that vastly outnumber them either. Hence the EC.

And, as with Australia, any imbalance is already acknowledged in the structure of Senate, which gives two places to each state regardless of size and population.

So, as your point is covered by that, it really becomes a philosophical argument as to whether it needs to be further recognized in the election of the president.

Yes and I think the media have well and truly fallen into that trap.

As soon as Trump continued to claim the 2020 election was stolen even after 61 court cases found against him or were thrown out, THAT was the time the media should have stopped giving him any credence whatsoever.

They mentioned his refusal to concede a fair and square defeat nearly every day. But they rarely condemned it.

It ain't as it is a whole state popular vote for the electoral college vote. So whether you live on 60 acres in rural Iowa or in a unit in downtown Des Moines your vote has the same weighting. But that weighting is better than someone living on 100 acres in rural New York.

Have the dems continued to insist 2000 was stolen from them even after every legal avenue was exhausted?
