Specifically: reference to TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) and its counterpart 'Trumpanzee' or anything similar will no longer be allowed.

Personal attacks are also to be kept to a minimum.

Just a reminder, even if it hasn't come up for a few pages and y'all should know this stuff by now:

This thread is not about Covid, lockdowns, or vaccines. It is about Donald Trump. While Trump was in office during the pandemic and his response to Covid is relevant, there are pertinent threads for you to post your opinions on those things in.

It might also do with reminding a few that when you post on the SRP, you are responsible for backing up/verifying your claims to fact. What this means is that you will be asked time to time to support your claims with evidence, to ensure that this forum is as free of misinfomation as we can make it.

Do not post conspiracy theories on this forum. We have an entire other forum for that.

Thanks all.

Congrats Royces Hart on the new thread title!

If Dutto wins all he has to do is kick all the Aboriginal people off Arnhem Land and make it a white homeland. It's even got an existing Dutch name so it's perfect for Team TerreBlanche!
That was a real shame what happened to him.

Surely it's time for our government to have a serious Plan on withdrawing from AUKUS?

Because at the current time, and where things are headed, the US right now seems a far greater threat to the security in our region than China ever was.

I bet the little guy , X , is in on the briefing and the one taking notes ;)

Is there any mechanism for an emergency leadership spill like there is in Australia?
i'm no expert but I think that short of Impeachment or Resignation, there's no such mechanism to ditch a President

Anyway, I honestly don't think the Republicans have either the inclination or the guts to stand up to their Grand Poobah.

With Musk finacning Trump, any recalcitrants would no doubt get "primaried" out at the next half year elections in the US.

Think of at as like Branch stacking

If enough of the GOP voters get disillusioned with DOGE, I don’t think the threat of being primaried will be as big a deal. Or at least, Musk funding a primary won’t be as much of a big deal. Some Congressmen might face the ire of the constituents they’ve refused to meet with.

But those are big ifs. At the moment the Trump voter disillusionment is still very modest.

You forgot assassination… it’s not a foreign concept to Americans.

This is not parody, my gott these people just keep putting both their feet in first and finding the biggest pile of dogshite. The old adage applies for the whole Musk klan “Better to be silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt”

So basically it seems its open season on Aust as far as every industry in the USA wants Mango Man to impose tariffs etc on us.

Wine, Tech, Big Pharma have all put their hands up.

For those interested in the wine nitty gritty. Our biggest market is China at 18% followed by the USA at 16%.

We’re not an especially large exporter of wine to the US, based on the 2023 data below. Or rather, we're one of the top handful of exporters to the US but a long way behind the biggest (France) and even behind NZ.

The US is also an exporter of wine, including to China, the UK and Canada. I’m sure there’s scope for us shifting some of our exports to those markets as they reject US imports.

I think we upped our US exports during our little game of musical chairs with China. Still, it takes time to find new markets and Europe will be looking after itself in that regard now given the tariffs they've been hit with.

You have to wipe out DEI in case the "Black Servants" who raised your children have the audacity to think that they might rise above their "stations" in life.

Elbows up Australia.

And time to kick the seppos out of pine cap.

Article I, Section 2, Clause 5 of The US Constitution sets out the powers and requirements for an impeachment of the President and other Federal Officers by the House of Representatives.

But with Republicans controlling Congress and MAGA controlling the Congress Republicans the chances of that happening, regardless of what Trump and his unelected henchman does, is nought - especially in the next 2 years.

Maybe I'm too out of the loop? But I just heard that Canada has agreed to a deal to buy an over the horizon radar system from Australia. Canadians are going to sink over $4 billion on it.

Now, maybe Trump had finally done us a solid, because they were supposed to buy it from the US.

But for some reason, they decided to go elsewhere, and we gave them a bit of a discount to sweeten the deal.

Cannot imagine why.

Donald might get so mad, he will go orange in the face.

I really really hope this is true ( everybody already knowing this and me being late to the party is also possible)
