I've only ever had #18 on my jumper but for the first time I've changed it ... now #5 and i expect it to remain like that for at least another 5 years. Don't let me down.

I remember that one contest against Sydney in the PF where he was beaten and overall didn't seem like he was going to make it. Thought he was going to go down the Bastinac path. Show promise then gradually fade into just 'a footballer'.

Then came 2015, rekt every midfielder he stared to death.

Then came 2016, injuries. ****.

Then came 2017, injuries again. **** we were missing him horribly!

Then came 2018 and wow. Just wow.

Has been the most improved player at North.

When he is in the side, our ability to run both ways is so good. It balances our structures so well.

He also has a bit of unpredictability about him, tagged midfielders expect to be tagged all game (chasing man not the ball), but more often than not, he would just go in for it and his direct opponent is left confused. It's quite funny to see star mids ball watching!

He's definitely tagging BUT not forgetting to hunt the pill himself in the process, unlike the taggers of old.

He's being moved from one dangerous player to another when said other is causing damage, and shutting them down while still accumulating it for himself.

A very talented footballer in his own right is BJ.

Last week he tagged fyfe in the first quarter and it didn't go well (partly due to sandilands putting it down his throat a bit). After that he seemed to be given instruction to go more head to head.

He is still playing tagging roles, but is a first class mid in his own right

Oh okay, who do you think he will tag agains Geelong next week? Ablett or Selwood? Personally I don't think Ablett is that damaging anymore especially around contests where he doesn't even go in for the hardball gets.

Had twenty nine touches last game pretty handy stat for a tagger I also thought Anderson may have been accountable for Neale who was hardly sighted

After seeing how he was a bit of a deer in the headlights as a defender it’s crazy how good his composure is in tight? Always finds a teammate by hand when in the contest..

Had a run with role with Zorko for a large part of the game.

He should of taken Beams at stoppages and the Zorko around the ground... Z did **** all but Beams torched us- albeit in junktime...

If you go back over the highlights you will see that 3 of his goals were outright crab efforts.

He won't ever get that lucky again.

Was apparently showing concussion symptoms late in the week, no obvious cause apparently. Bit of a mystery. Maybe just a safety first approach or, knowing the tendency for clubs to spout nonsense, it could be a sore hamstring.
