Really happy for this kid today. Has been playing well and gaining some confidence, I was worried that being dropped could stall the gains he has made this year.

its a joke that he was an out in the first place…

Still think despite his solid month of good football if he has one bad game he will be out.

I think he is our most in form player, I don't think there is another player in the 22 who has played as solid as him over the last 4 weeks.

Goldy, but agree he has been a lot more than useful every time he has played so far

Next week-

In: JMac
Out: Jacobs

Ben's kicking is a weapon when he has time. Under pressure he seems slow to think, and handballs to the closest player. Spatial awareness? Hard to tell from watching on tv.

I still have reservations re his decision making, and this has been on display in each of his games this year, including today.

He wins the ball well, and has a very nice left foot.

It's just the one or three extremely poor decisions he makes per game that stands out like dogs balls. It's not skill execution, it's mental processing.

If I were him, I would use that long left foot every time as a default, unless the short option was obvious.

That said, his development is pleasing, and the deficiency can be addressed, and probably quickly.

Wow. Can't believe the positive write ups. He was poor when heat is on.

Liability with terrible positioning and if ball in hand, makes stupid decisions.

I now understand why Scott wants to drop him at first opportunity, for once I'm on his side.

Brad does need a whipping boy though, to show the rest of the group he can be tough

Nah mate he was terrible. He did some ok things but the bad is.........er, bad.

It makes sense now why he is the first dropped for best 22 players. His errors and decision making at the contest are diabolical.

Wow. Can't believe the positive write ups. He was awful.

Massive liability with terrible positioning at contest and if ball in hand, makes stupid (costly) decisions.

Comments like this make me wonder if everyone was watching the same game

He has played 50 games and is worth persisting with imo.

Kicks well, just needs to use option A more often.

Cant judge him on a few brain farts when the whole team is flatulence ridden

wow. Thought he was in our top 5 today easily. Rapt for him even though i'd written him off tbh.

Yep, I'm seeing it. Should take all of our kick outs. I know it was only against Shitmond but a couple of times he hit targets well beyond the defensive 50 from the kickout. Aaron Mullet used to do that and I don't think we have anyone else capable on our list. Very good form and should be starting on the field next week.

Ben has a problem in that I think his team mates have not built trust in him.

They often ignore him as an option.
It's funny, watching the replay now... And he seems to lead to bad spots, too early. Doesn't wait to lead, so that the player would be able to kick it to him. Maybe his footy smarts lack a little.
