Cant beat a team guy like nib, plays his role well. Someone get that run down vs the Suns last week as an example of the dirty work that goes unnoticed most of the time.

Hes never going to be a star and that's fine with me, not all the list can be.
His kicking inside 50 has really improved too (for the most part), has lowered the eyes and hit some really good leads this season. Don’t know why I compare him to Toumpas, but drafted similar times, one is delisted, and one has worked his ass off and is a regular in a good side. Go Nib!

His Nib hate is personal im pretty sure, even when hes kicking great goals he finds something to whinge about haha

He’s kicked 11 goals in 19 games as more or less a permanent forward half player. Add his 8 behinds to that and you’ve got a forward who averages a paltry 1 scoring shot per game.

If you want to do cartwheels over that go ahead knock yourself out.

“But but his defensive efforts … and and … the way he pumps his fist after a goal “ 😩

Yea and when he was pulling them out of his arse vs Richmond you had a whinge about how he celebrated them. lol.

You say “them” as though he’s the love child of Eddie Betts and Robbie Gray.

Get your head out of the clouds.

Wtf are you on about?

lol who's comparing him, hes not paid the same as Betts or Gray. Look into that salary cap thingy again.

Not sure on the ANB hate, probably the second best kick inside 50 behind Spargo, and gets most of his touches outside 50 as he should so doesn't kick a lot of goals.

Not a superstar, but then you can't put an $800k a year player in every position. Back on topic, if Trac's field kicking had of been as good as ANBs this year we probably would have kicked another 50 goals so far.

Note: I do realise however that ANB's field kicking has been shite prior to this season.

It's not about the goals he kicks, it's about him setting them up. How many handballs forward of the stoppage, or burst away from a pack/tackle have we seen from him this season that has set up goals! Yeah, his kicking isn't always the best, but not many mids possess the power and skill he has plus goes at 80% by foot. You do get a sense this is his stage though. Similar to Dusty in a way. He has just always looked like he was born for this time. If we win, I'd be very very surprised if he isn't the Norm Smith medallist.

Huge contradiction here. Dusty kicks big goals, can't say Trac was built for this stage but then accept he won't kick well

Not really what I meant. I was meaning Trac seems like he was born for the big stage like Dusty. Dusty is a much better kick under pressure than Trac, but I don't want to undersell the other things Trac is doing so incredibly well either. On track to kick around 30 goals this season. That's a bloody ripper effort for a predominant mid these days, decent kick or not. FWIW, I think he's kicked several clutch goals, and hoping he can snag another couple tomorrow...

27 from 68.
If he kicks 1.2 with 2 ootf in the grand final that's the type of thing that costs you a premiership
