Interestingly Bucks was questioned post-match and said he was much more worried as a coach when Petracca plays forward as to when he's through the midfield ... He's going to be a nightmare match-up for years to come.
Boy do I hope we never have to pull an Adelaide or Geelong or Hawthorn and have to worry about him leaving to another club. Gotta keep Petracca, Hogan, Hunt, and Oliver together at least until we win a flag.

I'm wondering if it is good or bad management to try to get them to fall in love with each other.

Hogan should be watching the way Trac opens up space in front of him and leads into it and towards the kicker.

Hoges looks much better when he does this.

Trac is so strong and quick that he is causing match up problems in the forward line. Love it.

I don't think I've seen him get in more than a couple wrestles when he's entitled to with his strength. Great observation

Ablett and Franklin left because they received offers from clubs in unique situations you will probably never see again

Danger was playing interstate, Trac is a vic kid. He won't go anywhere unless the club implodes again

Eh, don't doubt the other Vic clubs won't throw massive coin his way in the next few years. Hawks will, because their list sucks. Norf and Carlton will, because they suck. Collingwood will, because they're flogs. The Tigs and Der Bombers will out of desperation when their current okay but not good enough to win a final lists need propping up. And Geelong and the Dogs probably will too. He's the kind of talent it'd be negligence for a club not to throw their hat in the ring.

And as for us imploding... ha ha haa. What are the odds??

Yeah but there is almost no precedence of gun victorian players moving to another Victorian club
Sure players move, but it's usually B graders who get a pay rise (Howe, Caddy, Greenwood, Gibson, Hale, McEvoy, Hibberd) OR were pushed by their club for the compensation pick (Goddard, Dal, Higgins, Waite etc)
The superstars that have left have been because of the empty pockets of the Giants/Swans and suns ( franklin scully ablett ) or they went home from interstate.

I can't think of the last star Victorian who left for another Victorian club. We will match any pay offer the others can make.

Well, Jordan Lewis. How are we defining star here? Or do you mean superstar top 20 AFL players?

Lewis was pushed though wasn't he. Topkent is right though. We've done a job on Vic Metro recently. Should be fine, just a question of Hogan recently (you'd think we're safe with Stretch, and I can't think of any other young (must keep) interstaters that we have)

Lewis was let go by Hawthorn though, they didn't really care that much
When was the last time a 23 year old Victorian kid swapped vic clubs. It's why people are kidding themselves if they think Martin would move from Richmond to north.

Jake Carlisle.

In any case, I'm not saying it will happen, I'm just saying he's going to get some ludicrous offers put in front of him.

If trac leaves us after 12 years at age 30 and 4 flags then i would be more than happy.

Carlisle is a shit campaigner though. I've heard he wasn't well liked at Essendon, so it's not too surprising

Much prefer the chest out tongue out parade to the crowd. **** the gangsta shit
I thought they were just letting each other know that they're Stonecutters.
