I have no issues with questioning players positions in the team but can we offer something more than just "send them to Casey" Maybe suggest what he is doing wrong and what he needs to do.

I like the fact even though he plays a quiet game he still chases, harrases and lays tackles

He was largely ineffectual today. Didn't hug the scoreboard and played mainly forward and didn't set anything up. I think he's just tired. I'd be giving him a week off, not playing him at Casey.

Put some really good pressure on at times, second qrt i think it was he made it to like 4 different players as the Saint were taking it out of the backline which was great.

Personally, I think he's absolutely cooked. He's been made to play midfield for weeks and he's not fit enough for it yet so is struggling as a result. Give him a week off next week for either BenKen or Watts, and bring him back to torture Collingwood.

He's tired. Was always going to need a few pre-seasons to run out games, and coming off a knee + having to play more midfield time means he's exhausted.

I think it's also tough when he's basically being asked to play a key forward position, without a lot of support. Most of our forwards had a pretty dirty day today, it's a bit rough to single out Petracca.

Send him to Case... oh uhh oops.

With a player like him when he's off he will look shocking. In all honestly he was still a bees dick away from having a major impact on the game and if he'd put one through the sticks or picked up 4-5 more touches we'd be lauding his game.

I disagree when watts has an off day he looks awful, but even when trac is off he charges around a million miles an hour putting pressure on.

Watts and Trac have nothing in common other than being high draft picks and playing for the Dees. Different players. Not sure why you brought him up?

You said when he (assume Trac) is off he looks awful. I disagree, when trac is off he still busts his arse to put on pressure.

Maybe I misread the tone of your post??

His 'awful' is basically a few errant kicks or not busting through a pack and getting caught. Can't question his effort, he's still figuring out how to work his way out of a shit game but his effort is always 110%. Works too hard and is too much of a FIGJAM to not try and impact his will on the game. He'll be an out and out superstar in 2-3 seasons.

I hear you, when trac has a down game its more to do with getting possessions and using it well and hitting the scoreboard. Which you could say is easier to fix than a lack of effort and being competitive

I don't think that's right to be honest.

He missed about 15 tackles vs North.

Either way, he needs a rest - but Brisbane might be the perfect team to get into form against considering their weak defence.
