Lloyds been good in trade radio. Saying this is a reflection of him. Pulled up

and twomey.Told how LDU told Freo he wants to stay in Melbourne. Up front.

In hindsight, a completely understandable request from LDU.

Unfortunately for you guys, convincing a player to agree to a trade to your club is a massive challenge.

There is no real incentive to play at North and there is so much uncertainty.

None of the players mentioned here are coming in this trade, so don't expect it.

It will be draft picks only, this years 1st and next year's 1st, then maybe some sort of sweetener 3rd or pick upgrade etc.

Sometimes you just gotta accept what you are at the particular time and work on getting better from there.

And hating on players who don't show blind loyalty doesn't do anything productive.

There's a reason JHF wants out, best to focus all energy on finding and fixing that problem.
Booting his arse to the curb WILL fix that problem

Going to be funny when Hinkley looses his job half way through the season.
It would be ironic if he went there and they fell into turmoil.

Get him off the books and move on. While Fabian has his hand up his arse, this kid is most likely going to be trouble anyway.

‘Competitive animal’

Was always overweight. s**t trainer. Barely chased. Only showed a pulse when near the ball.

And I was copping s**t for saying this in the 2nd of the year.

Also heard how the players Bali trip was funded by JHF fines. Bit tongue in cheek

I wouldn't trade LDU for anyone, but what an interesting sliding doors moment - if Freo had picked LDU, and we had taken Andrew Brayshaw, as we were being talked about picking him before the draft

Any deal where the highest pick is 8 is unders.

Pick 8 is actually pick 9 at minimum with the Ashcroft bid.
If Brady has any sense that’s what he is telling Port right now. Don’t even call until you get Pick 8 upgraded.

If you want him bad enough to pull this last minute stunt then get to work, because the call won’t be taken until 8 is in the top 5.

Can’t offer an underperforming player 3.2 then deny he’s worth pick 8. Get a better pick, next years first and a player. Cheers.

Hasn't Bowes nominated Geewhiz?
Equalisation at its finest. Win a flag and have Pick 7. Win two games have a couple of garbage picks.

This is what shits me most about the timing of this announcement. If it’s made at the end of the season then the AFL need to look at the compo. Leaving it until the last minute has genuinely ****ed us. For this reason alone I hope they don’t make it easy for this little bitch to get home.

I sure hope that's the attitude your recruiters bring to the table.

Because there's no way we're listening to that s**t. We'll just hold our (only) #1 draft pick to his contract.
Yes, and if that’s the direction North goes, so be it. Sometimes deals just don’t go through.

Anyone got anymore intel on Noble and recruiting staff retroactively butting heads over his selection? Would love to really know how his behavior and form was perceived behind closed doors now that we don’t need to try to protect him
Need to be pumping his trade value up as much as possible. Once a deal is done, if it is, then the club can talk about all that.

If Port say they have concerns about his attitude, we better be saying back, don't bull$hit us. He is clearly is better than he played, he was deliberately putting half efforts in so that we'd trade him. We're speaking to Adelaide, it's an auction, pay up.

Believe me Port have now put themselves in a position where they have to get this deal done.

If they can’t make this happen they have made themselves look very foolish pitching to a contracted No.1 with a year left on his contract and then trying to play games with a trade.

North won’t be the only ones with egg on their face if a deal can’t get done.

Yep.

Response should be
Top 5 pick
Next years first
+ an additional pick inside the top 20 or a player

The only card Port have is ‘we’ll get him for less next year’

Which is weak.

It’s also not a given they will get him next year. They are kidding themselves if they think he walks to them for nothing next year.
