Tick every box in terms of preparation and professionalism

"The Rat" may still be a NMFC player next year. And if he sorts himself out, he might be for longer. Probably unlikely, but let's see what plays out. If NMFC plays this smart, JHF might be the best thing that happened to us.

If the deal gets done it will be along the lines of North receiving pick 2 with a sweetener of say pick 33 and 53 - which points wise is more than pick 1. No SA club is giving a top 3 pick and an additional 1st rounder for the kid though, not this year, not next year either.

Points mean nothing when you talking picks 33 and 53. Luminaries like Brock Smith, Aaron Nietzske, Louis Butler, Shannon Neale and Cody Brand have been taken at those two picks. We don't have F/S or academy players to bid on. We need good players not rolling the dice on 99% likelihood list-cloggers.

What everyone seems to forget is these "quality players" don't want to leave. The player has to agree to a trade.
