There was sarcasm aplenty when it came to references to Simpson's kicking.

Pagan said he had developed his own kick - the karate kick. One of his best mates, Shannon Grant, said it was known as the "Simmo Special".

:thumbsu: :D Simmos Special! hahaha

Simmo, heart of the Kangas

Joseph regularly infuriates some at North with his stubbornness on certain issues, yet even those who this year have wanted to throttle him were saying wondrous things about him at the close of the night.

Interesting! This would indicate that there has indeed been a little tension around the club. As a member I am keen to know what the "cetain issues" are.

Take a joke you idiots... Re Nick.Rooboy83 & Arden
If you were there, maybe you would've heard Simmo crack a gag about there not be chicken on the menu!!! Its people like you and Arden that are way to sensitive and should learn to live a little. Or best part with some of your hard earned cash and come to a club function to let your hair down, who knows you may have even laughed a little at Sam K's opening routine story.

Adopted as an eight week old, he had to say it twice in his speech for people to realise he wasn't joking.

We've known his parents for years now and they are the real deal. Just genuinely nice, you can see where he gets it from.

I am led to believe that RJ saw himself as JB's right-hand man after all the Gold Coast stuff, but it hasn't quite panned out that way and he's a little frustrated as a result.

People who adopt are unsung heroes. To give a kid a chance at life they might not have normally had is one of life's miracles.

Thankyou Mr and Mrs Simpson.

For someone who doesn't list a team, you really can't criticize people for not attending a function which was not exactly widely publicized, especially when one of the people you are criticizing lives interstate and the other attends every function he is able to get to.

Was lucky enough to meet Brian Simpson in Adelaide last weekend and fortunately resisted the urge to comment on how much he looks like Adam. Adoption authorities way back when had a certain and uncanny proclivity for matching children with parents. And regardless of the looks, it seems that they couldn't have picked a better pair to raise a child, especially one with sporting ability, as they are incredibly supportive, traveling interstate whenever the team is on the road.

Not only is Adam Simpson the heart of the Kangas, but so is his father and mother.

I did not know it was law to list your team, as it is it was an overlook!
I am also sorry for trying to lighten the night, if you were there maybe you would've heard Simmo say the same thing! Like i said previously dont take everything to heart and live a little....
Did you go???

Haha, you're accusing snraz of not going? Snraz FFS....

And yep, I agree, we should all try and be more like you.

God knows the world needs more pillocks.

It does sound like he has fantastic parents, they must be proud as punch of their boy. :)

Cmon lads, it wasnt that bad.

Loosen up.

Gimme a break Q, any looser and I'd be a Gold Coast schoolie the week after exams.

As for the team-less poster, it's not law that you register a team. But if you don't it's assumed you are not one of us. And then when you question the commitment of regulars and good club men like Arden And Nick, well then you appear as an opposition troll.
