Hobbs is one of those small nuggety midfielders that don't have a 1 wood.
He needs to be a very reliable midfielder that does everything well. At the moment he's not quite that.
He doesn't offer anything more than any other midfielder ahead of him atm.
7 tackles and 20 disposals coming. He'll kill it as the sub today.

Who the **** else would you have had as a sub though? Hind wouldn't have added shit to this game. Jones would've been a good one if Scott knew beforehand that Lav would go down, but you can't predict things like that. Not a smart sub, he either plays from the start or not at all
Poor choice from Brad

Hobbs as the sub was the right call.

Not in the last when we're having to shift magnets around to cover the hole in the backline created by Laverde having to be subbed out with the shoulder injury.Run and carry from Hind would have added plenty.
Looked like a guy who's been playing twos all year and had just sat spectating for most of the match.Good to see my boy back, but of course he couldn't impact.
Very hard game to come into late.Looked like a guy who's been playing twos all year and had just sat spectating for most of the match.
Would have been very hard but he competed well and cracked in. Has to start in the future.Reckon anyone who came into that fourth qtr today would have struggled for an impact.
Just good to have him back in the mix moving forward. Not sure many would of been able to impact as a sub for us yesterday.Looked like a guy who's been playing twos all year and had just sat spectating for most of the match.
I recall this, he may well be a strong runner, it’s hard to pinpoint any testing etc to refer to.One match last year he was one of the quickest timed on ground in terms of km per hour - approx 32.5. Not sure aerobically but I don't recall him looking like he was going to blow up in his first season.
