Didn't Carlton get nothing for Waite?

Waite didn't come for a lot of money, if Wells does get 3x $500k it would be closer to Dal Santo than it would be to Waite. As much as we aren't loved by the AFL, they would be well aware that we are in rebuild mode, especially if we lose the likes of Wells, and they would know we are partly in this position to being starved of talent due to the introduction of GC and GWS, we have been going to the draft strongly every year.

We should make a strong play, behind the scenes, to AFL house for a Melbourne/Frawley like over-compensation, ie nobody would really care if we get a 2nd round pick out of it.

Wellsy was meeting with pickshisarse yesterday . The fact that he still has not come out a decision gives me the impression that he doesn't want to leave , maybe he's hoping / asking us to come a little further contract wise . Maybe 2 years and triggers for a 3rd . Would not mind this as long as he hits the triggers .

I've been thinking the same. Hope it's the case.

If he wants 3 years that is absurd.

I'd prefer him to leave than us agree to that.

It should be one year with performance clauses for the second year - which I suspect is what we have offered and we should stand firm on that.

If he goes, so be it. Club will move on quickly, could easily work to our benefit.

I watched about 1-2 episodes and vowed never again.

English comedy>>>>>>>>>>>>>American comedy

It was better after they did their own episodes not approximations of the original ones

Ah the American Office, the original and the best.

:drunk:
It was no good for a couple of episodes, then got real good for about 7 seasons.

Then Steve Carell left and it fell apart.

It's like doing a remake of Star Wars though... I mean, who would pay to watch that?!
